I felt like the romance plot showed us a different and innocent part of Push, like he did all those naive things to be around her and then after the tragic humiliation in her house he accepts that maybe he won’t get anyone loving him as he’s an illegitimate child. However, Srivalli loved him just for the way he was, she was the push he needed to reighn supreme ❤️
His performance never disappoints me, people really don’t realize how good he’s because mostly his movies are action entertainers but the man hits the ball out of the park even with mere swag. I couldn’t believe he’s the same one who was my heart and soul crushing simp Arya and the same man did a Bantu and now Pushpa, in Pushpa he let go off the stylish image and did a 360 u turn, that helped him grow bigger, it’s not a RRR or Bahubali but an out an out Allu Arjun product that penetrated through pan India, maybe nobody except Rajnikanth, and now Allu Arjun have penetrated into 5-6 markets with humongous hits. Other than Rajni and Arjun, Rajamouli and Shankar did.
Julayi was worth watching because of the perfect comic punches but overall I didn’t like it, illeana didn’t even look like a heroine and the movie is still a crazy success, I don’t know why 🤣I think nothing beats Race Gurram in terms of his action comedies, that movie is sth I can watch every day 🤣. That’s a perfect remake material in Hindi belt too, I’m surprised that Bollywood didn’t touch Race Gurram yet, ahh the songs ❤️
Race Gurram (dubbed version) has been airing on Hindi channels since ages. Lucky the racerrrr😎
🤣
You are right about the whole showing a softer side of Pushpa in the romance track but what I didn't like was the same caricaturish portrayal of Srivalli. And resolving everything by the whole 'Villlain having his eyes on her and AA taking over and TaDa' formula.
As someone who has watched so many Telugu movies, it just felt very very predictable. I'm going to totally skip over the virginity request. Just that I was expecting something new/better.
But yes, he is an excellent performer. Its just that the whole 'Stylish star' persona overshadows it. Pushpa has given him a change to break the mold. He did it try it earlier with Vedam as well. It's a good one as well. I'm glad that this is happening for him, especially at a pan-India level. He deserves the recognition.
@blue : I don't think I've ever read anyone use such words for Arya 😆. And let's be honest, in Arya 2 the guy was whatever the equivalent of Simp is for your best-friend.
Plugging this here, just because.
