Deepika appreciation thread

I love DP and I think she is one of the few who is both a stunning looker and can act. The way she can slip into different roles and carry them off with utmost elan is a tribute to her resilient spirit. She does have a slight problem with dialogue delivery, but I think she has worked on it (Gehraiyaan is proof).

What do you like most about Deepika?

She stands up for things in her way and I appreciate that. At JNU, she stood by and listened. She also didn't do that one director's film after the MeToo allegations and her fans asked her not to. Not sure if there's been anyone else that famous who has actually listened and followed through. She takes her art seriously and has become such a good actor. She was brilliant in Gehraiyaan even though the film disappointed.
