Haha hell no she ain't. She did Udta Punjab, Ki and Ka, Good Newwz, and is garnering tremendous praise for LSC. Hell, she's 42 years old, can't even qualify for flowerpot roles anymore.

Kareena can act unlike Katrina.

I do not think she wiped out Deepika or Kat etc.

She has given many flops and is known more for offscreen antics and controversies than real work.

She gets big films as she maintained good relations with all Khans and hardly took sides the way say, say Deepika was a staunch SRK camp type and never worked with other Khans. And because she adjusts her fees. She learnt her lesson after losing Kal ho na Ho to Preity over fees.

She acts better so she got Talaash, Udta Punjab and LSC as these parts required someone to act well. Unlike Katrina who would be misfit in these films.

She is Punjabi herself so she gets films based in Punjab as she fits the look. Unlike Deepika who can no way look typical Punjabi.

She is also doing roles which span over various ages and hence pulls off older part well. The way she played mom in LSC.

I am sure Deepika and Kat do not want to age much onscreen yet and are not too keen to play moms as of now.

So Kareena fits in as a mature actress.

Shes working in her 40s yes that’s great but managing family of two kids as well so kudos to her.

Kareena, Katrina, and Deepika are all still very much relevant

They are co-existing in the hallways of stardom

They, along with Shraddha and Alia, make up top 5 heroines of BW

Am so proud and happy that most of them are in their 30's or above....audience has matured!

This has been done in the past (and done better) I believe Sridevi set the benchmark with English Vinglish and Mom. Both movies were successful, she was the main lead and delivered a strong performance.

Considering she is always in the news, she gets the pick of all the older-actress projects.

A producer knows she will bring headlines and you can generally rely on Kareena now to give at least a decent to good performance. I think she's a bit overrated acting and dance wise especially (she is kind of bad at dancing) but Kareena has put in the work in her scripts, she's rarely ever the worst part of a movie.

It doesn't hurt that she's built up a lot of connections over the years and is generally accommodating to adjusting her fees. She's also become pretty pleasant to work with, so she gets the pick of the projects.

Katrina and Deepika are at different phases of their careers. The transition to more nuanced, serious roles is harder but both have tons of expensive endorsements so it's not like they're doing only movies.

The reason question is what happened to all of Kareena's former competition: Preity, Rani...etc. She's blown them all away besides Aishwarya but Aishwarya and Kareena cater to different demographics.

Please don’t bracket Rani and Preity together just coz they did pia pia lol

Rani doesn’t have PR and a loud mouth , that doesn’t take away from the fact that she has delivered 3 hits post her marriage and movies .

Kareena has only relied on films with big heroes always . I am yet to see a solo kareena film making money at the BO. It’s very easy to piggy back on someone else and then have PR working the rest . She has mostly stayed relevant through social media and her little boys .

What has Ash done ? Such blind and biased opinions . That new film of hers is a Tamil film. Let’s talk Bollywood .
