well, not sure about anti-depressant but i have had anti anxiety pill some time ago and that too before a medical procedure lol to calm my nerves as you cant take anesthetics for that particular process ... i didn't like the feeling of 'high', but one pill just makes you sleepy ... it takes about 1 hr to kick in. you don't get adverse reaction with one pill lol. The only adverse after-effect that can happen is addiction to these drugs, which is why usually NO psychologist or doctor will prescribe these for long - they will do these in tandem to therapy. Unless you have major mental disorder like bipolar for instance, then only you are on long term drug therapy. For anxiety / depression - the drugs are a short term help and then you are to continue non-medicated therapy. lol In case of BALH2 Nandini is a drug addict. 🤪

Problem is with the larger audience who watch crappy shows and contribute to the TRP system. If audience would reject shows like rishta, bhagyas, ghum this wouldn’t be the state of affairs right now. Just think about this - we keep cursing the writers and makers for not coming up with good plots but fact is those guys are professionals and if amateur folks in IF with no professional experience can pen some amazing fanfics, these guys are pro in their job. If channel and TRP system force them to ruin their own story they have no choice. They cannot anticipate every challenge they will encounter and then pen a story. If there are cuts then few characters are ousted from the show which forces for a change in track. And the logical flow breaks. If only audience could encourage good shows, ITV would have some good content too.
