Atul is one of the sweetest character in this show.

He makes you smile everyday.

and it is not that he is dumb but

I think the intention of him not understanding was in humor.

So every character should be respected especially for a character like Atul who even cares so much about his plant 😳

Well said Gagan. Atul is an eco-conscious, sensitive, and intelligent doctor. He adds honesty, charm, wonder, amazement and a host of other qualities that others lack. If he talks to plants, it's because he feels they are like his children, that all forms of life have the ability to understand. It's a sign of his compassion, not anything else. Please try to understand someone before passing judgement on them. This topic will be closed before it escalates into a bashing post. May we remind everyone bashing of actors/characters is not allowed.
