A positive perspective in support of Sumbul 😊

I know we all are hanging around with a heavy heart, because of having to let go off Arylie so unexpectedly. And now with FK liking the tweet not to bash Sumbul, it's almost confirmed that there might be a leap and Sumbul is retained, which is like pouring salt into our wounds. Hence, with all these in mind, I am trying to give a positive perspective of why she might have decided to stay, inspite of the trio & FK leaving the show.

As we know the first & foremost reason would be she must have not wanted to be ungrateful to a show that was a turning point & gave her so much in life. And if she's staying on SP's request, we know the additional reach she got through NTV by being a part of RWSP. So, it's quite normal for her to pay it back to all those who helped her have a foothold in this industry. And I believe being grateful in life will only take one person to more higher places.

Secondly, who knows she agreed to stay so that we may get a beautiful & decent ending for Arylie, which would not have been the case if both of them were quitting. Especially in such a situation with Gul being riled up by fans, Sumbul staying back could be the only thing that could calm her down and not spoil Arylie to make her ego win. So, let's keep that in mind before being emotional & loosing our control with our words.

Thirdly, if S2 gives her a role which is completely opposite to what Imlie was, why wouldn't she accept it, considering how competitive she is when she is challenged about something. We have seen it many times in RWSP. So, if she has decided to take this up as a challenge, shouldn't we support her fighting spirit? I don't believe in Gul being successful in making an S2 pair hit, that too when the trio is not in picture now; but just for Sumbul I would wish that she will be able to leave the show with her head held high, whenever S2 ends.

Above all, she is the breadwinner of her family with having to take care of her sister and that too in a city like Mumbai. And an actor's life is unpredictable. So, before we feel bad about our online or offline ships, please put yourself in her shoes and it will be able to control ourselves from giving into negative emotions. Have been there; hence trying to help you all in the way I helped myself.

Now, for those who are concerned about how she will manage in the set with new cast & crew for the third time, I believe atleast Nilimaji will be retained from the old cast, to whom she seems to be more attached as a mother and who too takes care of her in the same way. And who knows, all existing cast are retained except for FK & probably Resham.

Moreover I would request all Arylieans & Sumaan supporters to be mature enough to take wise decisions not for anyone/anything, but for our own mental health. Because 'Continuing in bitterness is something like slow poisoning. You won't know what harm it is bringing in your's & other's life, until you reach a point where you will start hating yourself. And until you take cautious effort to come out of that state, you will not be able to lead a peaceful life.' So, let's be an example to other fandoms. 😊

Well said dear! Even if Sumbul continues which I believe she will, we are no one to question her choices. I wish her all the best but I won't be able to watch her with anyone else

Whatever Sumbul does is her own choice and I respect that and I wish both her and Fahmaan a good luck ahead. But as I said earlier as I was for Arylie things will end for me with that. I just hope Sumbul does great in life and her career gains more and more hight. Whatever pair is coming next I can only say good luck just for Sumbul and the people that are working there.

Definitely we will accept it the way it is and move on.

We can make better choices for ourselves and we will.

Spiralling in hate is just stupidity.

I might watch to see how she will be portraying the rich spoiled child. But, not sure whether I will be able to watch her with another ML so soon.😔

I will never judge her for staying back if she is retained. I wish her all the very best. But Imlie is Aryan Singh Rathore and AryLie for me. So I won't be able to continue watching the show further.

all good things come to an end but it is okay - that is life. I have accepted the arylie end for quite some time and I don't particularlly have any feels either way for the actors leaving.

at the end of the day, when it comes to a career, we have to make individual choices that is a fit for us. is it sad when your friends leave for another job? sure, but you don't hold them back and neither can they expect you to join them. there have been plenty of times when I resisted the bandwagon and made a choice that would have been seemed wrong for others but it was right for me career wise and I have no regrets.

so I don't have any feels either way for the choices fahmaan and sumbul make as actors -- it is their career and they have to do what is best for them long-term. they can't decide their next step on the feels of the fandom.

even if they feel bad about disappointing fans, their choices are limited because there are so many management level decision makers at the channel and production house. just like in corporate companies, those at upper management are also going to be making decisions based on monetary factors, marketing and product reach etc. we all know there are so many levels to these decisions and it is not so simple.

to the fandom who are struggling, I will share this --

when we see them as just characters, it can be hard to let go but as someone who has said bye to many drama characters, I would urge you to think of from a different perspective -- when we are attached to a drama OTP or a character, there are specific emotional reasons.

maybe it is an expression of the kind of hope you have for yourself in terms of romance. maybe it is the kind of person you wish you could be. if you introspect, you will know why you are attached specifically to arylie and what it is about these characters that captured your heart.

it is okay to feel sad but remember you are going to be okay because all of what you love about arylie -- those hopes, dreams and expressions -- will stay with you.

those hopes and dreams don't have to die just because the drama ends or the arcs for these characters finishes. those expressions, hopes and dreams are yours alone. you will find variations of that again in another drama and even if you don't, you will be okay because you wil find those hopes, dreams and expressions in yourself and in your life eventually.

so hold on to those aspects of arylie that you love -- it is okay to have expectations and hopes. it is okay to be romantic. it is okay to enjoy a drama to the fullest and laugh and love with other fans as well. that is what a community is all about.
so let go with a smile so that you can look back on this time spent on a drama as a beautiful memory. it can be scary and a bit alienating because we have built a certain kind of daily rhythm around this drama and now we have to let go of that. but something else will come along eventually and you will have a different kind of fun. that is what life is about - all these twists and turns we didn't expect.

ultimately, if we remember the fun we had together as a forum, we as a fandom can think back on this as a happy memory instead of a bittersweet one. we had fun together no as a forum? ❤️
