Can someone tell who was the female actress whom Aamir said they didn’t want to take and apprehensive about it because the character required against from teen to old age? He himself was shown aging from young to old in the movie, but this sexist ass is saying that about a woman.

Don't think this is the case. HR is Bollywood's last superstar. And, he isn't exactly young. None of the "young" actors are bankable, nor do they have that starpower.

I feel Bollywood has lost its core audience. It hasn't helped that Bollywood celebrities themselves brag about not watching Bollywood films, and hold a condescending attitude towards Hindi Cinema.

It's 2022 and speaking in English is still considered a status symbol by a loud section within Bollywood. People can sense the colonial hangover these days. That's awfully off-putting.

Yes BW has lost a lot of audience. I can speak for my direct family and the extended family. We all used to watch BW movies regularly. Now rarely any watches any, and my family is big like at least 80+ people.

He said the other actress was much younger than him and he thought Kareena would look more age appropriate considering that they were doing deaging on him.

Manushi Chillar. He was shown the Malaabar Gold ad where kareena and Manushi acted together.

It is a good call he did not take Manushi. We saw how awkward she looked with Akki in Pritviraj, there was no chemistry and they looked like father daughter. Even with de-aging effect on Aamir the age difference between them in real life is too much.
