Again, I'd like to blame bad writing, like I always do. But unfortunately you wouldn't agree that Raavi can also be badly written, like Shiva once was :)

KD himself said that ego has gotten in between their relationship and that because Raavi is earning more so Shiva has a problem. There is ego because for the first time Raavi is doing something for herself and Shiva can't handle that. He wants Raavi to put him and his family first above everything else but won't do the same thing in return. When Shiva comes home work and is tired, he asks Raavi for some water she gets it for him right or does she start taunting him like he did? He is playing the victim right now because he has the biggest ego there is and because he doesn't want to admit he was wrong in doubting his wife.

Why are you making a big deal about Raavi keeping a secret from Shiva. She didn't tell him because she herself thought the job offer was a prank and didn't want to tell anyone because everyone would make fun of her. She wanted to surprise Shiva and the family if the job offer was true because she thought everyone would be happy, she thought wrong because Shiva showed how happy he was for her not one bit. Also she didn't tell Shiva about it for less than 24 hours. Shiva immediately thought she is having an affair because she was talking on the phone at night, so much for I am always going to be by your side and I trust you.

Shiva only has that she lied to him, which is the most hypocritical thing to get mad at because Shiva has lied to Raavi way more than Raavi has lied to him. Him and his family did a full on YKB when she was kidnapped, did they not eat food then because they sure as hell weren't worried about Raavi then. His bhabhi leaves the house after telling everyone that she is going and they still run around finding her like she is lost. But Raavi being kidnapped was not that big of a deal for them.

I agree with you there is no room for ego in a husband wife relationship and there is no room for secrets either but both of them exist in Shiva and Raavi's relationship. Raavi kept a secret to surprise him but it was to spite him. Shiva has an ego about his relationship with Raavi because he has never worked on his relationship before this and now he wants Raavi to work on it again so he can continue playing the victim without apologizing. Shiva has kept secrets from Raavi in the past, paper heist anyone.

I am making it a big deal because her entire basis of keeping it a secret was so foolish and dobi. She thought it was a prank? Okay and? She didn’t consider the risks in going to an ad shoot by herself especially if she was suspicious about its legitimacy??

Shiva never accused her of having an affair, stop putting words into his mouth. And his outrageous reaction was after he saw her roaming around Somnath with an unknown man. Any partner would be hurt if they saw their partner rooming around with an unknown person on a bike. There is a certain level of intimacy to that.

Many people, including myself, called him out for keeping those secrets especially since Raavi felt so bad about it. Which is why her keeping this a secret shows no growth at all. What’s the difference if she’s going to do the same thing Shiva did? I mean really what’s the point in defending with the argument that usne pehle ye kiya so it’s okay agar she did it this time.

Had it been a prank would the family not call her dobi and foolish, so she wanted to make sure it wasn't a prank but that is not what you are understanding.

She went to the anchoring all by herself too, Shiva could've gone with her if he was soo concerned about her safety but he was pouting because she herself didn't tell him when he could've very easily asked her.

If Shiva had a problem with her saying that she earned more than him then that is the biggest proof of his male ego.

She shouldn't have said that success se jealous line because he wasn't upset with her success but he was more frustrated with her lying to him, which is hypocritical on his part because he is behaving like he has never lied to her before.

It is bad writing and I have said this many times. The makers don't want to have a good and progressing track for Shiva and Raavi because the angsty idiots want aag Boi for some reason that constantly insults his wife with his mom and bhabhi.
