The generation 2 woman squad are back..they are responsible for the current tragedy.

This is what happens when you forget your roots and develop a shiny object syndrome. "God's own show; new people, new costumes, new story lines to play with; *10000th heart sign* " Rishta stopped respecting its audience a long time ago. I think whatever remained of its original roots dissipated after the clot track in gen2. After that Naitik -- rishta's main character for 8-10+ years-- disappeared off-screen and they didn't even bother offering the scrappiest explanation to maintain continuity. The only consistency the showed from that point on was in chasing TRPs. And that worked, Kaira's separations worked so well, because they had an extremely solid base of 2+ years. Kartik's absolute love for Naira was believable. Naira's inability to live without Kartik was believable. Their chemistry wasn't built on a two day trip. Their history allowed the show to bounce back from the worst of its writing.

When gen3 began the writing team displayed none of its original hesitance, conviction, or desires to work hard to make it successful. No, in their heads, they were already successful. Now Rishta was this big thing, this glamorous touchdown in ITV history, the ultimate pie every actor wanted a piece of. They had done that. They were the masters of ITV. Humility? What is that. They were told to follow IN's plot by SP but I'm sure they knew they were only going to present an illusion they were doing that. Fine, but did that mean they knew who their characters were going to be? Shiny Object Syndrome in place, they went for a big name. Brought in Harshad Chopda because why not? This is Yeh Rishta the brand. Did they know if the actor was right for the character they had in mind? Did they even know if they *COULD* write the kind of character the actor COULD play? No, but this is Yeh Rishta the brand. 'THEY' had made Kaira SO MASSIVE. They'll do the same with Abhira. In came THOUSANDs of mindless, meaningless dreams. Dreams, that actually had so much value and meaning in s2, which were central and necessary to Kaira's story, became placeholders in Abhira's story. Why? Because well we had this stuff in gen 2. We're good at writing this. Is it even needed? Who cares? Abhimanyu falling in love in two days will never carry the impact, the slow burn Kartik felt where you saw him sink deeper and deeper over hundreds of EPISODES! His yearning to just have Naira acknowledge his existence was why Kaira's dynamic and progression was so good. But even then, HC did lend Abhimanyu's realization a lot of credibility. Akshara? One day she hardly acknowledges him, day two she's so madly in love? Where on earth is the history of this dynamic?

There's so much that is wrong here. Ex: Keesh developed over hundreds of episodes as well. Kaisha didn't even get that two day romance. No, just hit it off offscreen and now viewers are supposed to care about some wedding?

But I think the worst part is that the writing team overestimates itself. They brought in HC to write an Abhimanyu when they can NEVER write the kind of characters HC can do justice to. All they do is try and stamp some xyz kaira/naksh dynamic onto abhira and when that doesn't work they have no idea what to do next.

Abhira not consummating their marriage at this point makes no sense. Or did they just do it offscreen?🤔

They have a script from S2 that worked really well for S2 because the components in that system were different. All they do now is try and make that script work for s3 time and again failing but not accepting the truth. And the truth really is that they're not HALF as good at this as they expected. Abhira are NOT Kaira. HC is NOT Mohsin. Akshu is NEITHER Naira NOR Akshara 1.0. And they can only write certain kind of dynamics/romances -- and those DO NOT work with their current leads. My friend and I were discussing how HC/Pranali's age gap could've added SO MUCH to their relationship/could've made the chemistry so much better HAD it been acknowledged and HAD the characters been developed around that. But they'd rather force kaira's same-age-banter on them than actually work on writing something better.

The only interesting dynamic in this show was Harsh x Abhimanyu and lol what have they done to that?

Anyway, these are strictly my views.

I have watched enough of S2, the story writing in comparison to S1 became extremely dramatic because of a certain Kundali Bhagya.

Every Goenka family member got twisted for trps.

Here everyone is bland from day 1 expect HB

Abhimanyu was not at all interesting in the first place.

Which legacy fan is going to tolerate Aarohi abusing Naira's daughter.

Aarohi's kaands are white washed..

We need to look at Sai Joshi, Imlie or Anupama

Their face offs with the villains, vamps bring in trps.

Akshara is soft😘, sweet, nice and kind.

In the current track she is the epitome of perfection.

There is literally no story, only cut outs in the form of characters

Utkarsh somehow closed tracks whereas S2 writers do not know how to end or proceed with their writing.

No character got their own audiences especially the leads.

Harshad nor Pranali did not bring in a separate trp base for their so called chemistry.

Because of the universal deficits there are all sort of rumors abt show going off air,Shivin coming back etc.

HC is not reposting anything related to Yrkkh

but there’s no children now so how can generation leap happen 😂

Maybe that's why they haven't showed Abhira's SR..🤪🤣
