Her bickering with shah family always gets the trps. Same with sai and tamarind.

There is no love story only curd romance which sort of curdles into cheese. DKP has roped in Mrunal Jain, he is another version of Vanraj Shah, I hope MJ hasn't lost his base with acting.

It is sad to watch the downfall of a show which took you to crazy heights Mr. Shah.

Akshu is forever passive and Abhimanyu has been turned into one recently. How are we going to connect with such characters. On the top the supporting cast has no say.

Today I saw one of the most regressive episode on ITV ie Virat performing mid wives duties. Everyone was talking about vaginal monologues, however for me Sai Joshi stood firm and sent Paki to Jail in the precap. She some how gives it back to the Chavan's.

In Yrkkh Garima somehow does not want a single stain on her Aarohi.

How will trp fans connect with passive leads, a bleached vamp and recycled poorly executed plots.

Baccha Party romance has driven away viewers,

When trps are falling SP won't bother about legcy especially when the creator himself wants a shutdown.

The thing is the show is very dull right now. I'd watch it for Abhira but I can see their scenes on insta or Twitter so why would I waste my 30 mins watching the whole episode for 5 min scene?

We have so many issues in real life, we watch TV for a break from this so is it really worth watching a show where there is practically no story? To me, it just seems that they are jumping from one issue to another and it's not really relatable. And they keep shoving Manjari being a dukhi aatma down our throats but I'm sorry, that formula is not working this time. Pick some important topics that normal people can relate and work on it, don't just dish it out in a rush.

And Arohi bores me too but it's no good saying she is cause for low trps because trps were high when show was centred around Abhira plus Arohi. Dont forget.

@Bold This!!! That's the issue! Yes it's sad but ITV is watched for mainly the female lead. Audience loves to cheer and root for the female lead which explains why the confession track was a hit because thats when Akshara suffered the most.

People love to watch female leads gets wronged and then trps rise when she finally gets justice. Some sort of sadistic psychology theory here but it's true. one of the highest trp of ITV belongs to Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki where Parvati lashes out at everyone.

I guess people see themselves in the character when they watch tht character be misunderstood and then obviously when truth is out, its like a personal victory for people.

Hey I have no complaints for anybody except the fact that there's no story. Even the titbits of Twitter have become boring because there's no story other than Abhira fashion parade, their crying with glycerine swollen eyes and dance parties. Expecting entertainment in YRKKH has become a big ask.

Karishma Sawant is not responsible for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai's downfall.

She is the reason why trp hit 3.3

The writer's guild turned Arohi into a prop for Abhira, instead of exposing her deeds, she got protection.

That is why trp aunts cannot relate to Aarohi Goenka any more.

Akshara has to thank or regret when she goes against her sister.

The above mentioned points should also be listed amongst the many reasons which will ultimately bring down the invincible show.

What's actually missing is the "emotion" . Even today if I watch s1 , I cry a lot bec I relate to it as a parent. The bond which akshara shared with her family was something that every parent relates to..they explored it for 100-150 epis.... The brother sister bond, friendship, grandparents , uncles aunts even the servants ..after marriage the bond with the husband and in laws was wonderfully explored. The festivals and ceremonies were detailed which added to the fun , strengthened the bond and it was also something we could discuss and argue . Kairas bond was developed over 300+ epis.

At what point did we connect to the birlas ? They don't care about each other , only themselves. . Goenkas can't change unless they enter from an alternate reality . And abhira ? Akshu is so perfect that she is unrealistic . Perfect sister perfect bahu perfect wife..where is the conflict ? Never in the history of yrkkh was there a character was was "jealous" of their own family..except for naman. All characters were for each other and with each other except now when they r there bec they want money or fame. Now all r jealous , abusers or victims or they r just the cardboard cutouts.

The only memorable thing abt abhira wedding imo was the way they dressed up. Ppl were hardly crying on her bidai and there was nobody to welcome her😆 Aise kaun likhta hai tracks?

So true! Even now when I watch scenes of Akshu with baby Duggu, it makes me smile coz the way they show it, it’s so relatable. Akshara and Varsha’s friendship and teasing each other scenes, the entire Naksh journey infact everything makes one feel something.

Even with Kaira, i liked their initial nok-Jhok, their buildup of feelings, I loved Keesh. And there were some wholesome moments and tracks.

With s3, imo they rushed AbhiRa. I still can’t connect to them coz they meet / fall in love/ want to marry in a 2 days trip. Then they did the most horrible thing by making Abhi propose Arohi for an alliance. And even if that was not worse, they actually made AbhiRa elope on AbRohi wedding day by jilting Arohi. All this leaves a bad taste.
Chalo thik hai but what after marriage? No scenes of bonding except fights and fights and misunderstandings. Idk what’s happening now coz I have stopped watching. I just sometimes see scenes or precaps on insta.

And Akshu needs a character wake up call. She is so bland. She did grow on me in the middle but now again she has become one tone.
Also cant digest Goenkas esp Suhasini being all lovey dovey coz of her history. But that is also a minor point. Basically I don’t feel a connect to any character. Arohi is a pendulum. What do the writers even want to do with her?

Yup. At Akshara, Naira bidai, I could feel the emotions. Even for Keerti, Rashmi etc. here it evoked nothing.
What was the need for toxicity? For so many years Yrkkh ran without so much negativity or long term villains.

100% agreed on everything you said..

Recently I had a little chat abt when yrkkh started and I said 2009 and that lady (in parlor who I was chatting to) said that bk then I know someone who used to say that we wish we get a dil like akshara . Then I realized that yrkkh had such a mass appeal and akshara clicked really well with the masses.

After 2 generations , I can't find any fault in akshara then why doesn't she have the same mass appeal? Its all about the execution and how they make the characters connect to the audience ..a strong vamp also needs a strong heroine but here our akshu is already defeated in front of aroo.

Why, why, why??? Why are they destroying such an iconic show like this?? If what some are saying is true that the PH actually wants to shut it down then this is an evil way to go about it.. I can't believe that anyone would do so with their identity which is what this show is for RS but the way the show is being abused and cut up I honestly don't know what to think.
