I kind of agree and disagree here 😊 I agree PriSh relationship was not properly defined but to be honest among the friendships I have seen in the show so far, I prefer them over the others. Maybe Adi Ram are a close second here. Sometimes you might end up establishing a connect with someone from your past you barely know, like just an acquaintance. But maybe you meet them this time under circumstances that lets you develop a bond. Same thing happened with Priya and Krish. Krish was a mere crush during her college days. Nothing more. She never bothered to know him and vice versa and Krish only observed her from afar as he found her interesting. Had he made a move or Priya herself (which is MI 😛) maybe she would have been a happier person for two reasons - First, she would never have fallen in love with Neeraj and she would have been a happier person and second, she would have been happily married to a man who was not surrounded by chaos and greed. But unfortunately her prince charming was Ram, so she got stuck with him 😛 Back to our topic, when Priya and Krish ran into each other, they shared a mutual goal but for different motives. Priya wanted Ram to get justice and Krish wanted a closure on a case he had been following for a long time. And they kinda became each other's support system to achieve that goal.
By the end of it, Krish was probably the only person who got to know Priya better coz Priya had a lot of drama going on to focus on anything else. This bond further deepened when Krish became Priya's secret keeper. Other than her, it was only Krish who was privy to the truth of Shivi's death and he became her confidante. Priya cut her ties with her family and with Ram and the only person she could turn to was Krish coz no matter how proud a woman can be, a mother will have to keep her pride aside and seek help if it concerns her child. Priya needed Krish as he was the only person she could turn to, to ask for help to raise Pihu. She could not have asked the Soods coz that would mean keeping the baby close to Kapoors and she was scared of Nandu. Krish had every right to be mad at Priya and even deny her claim of him being the father of her child but he kept quiet as he wanted to support her. I think the scene where Krish gets upset at Priya was beautifully shot. He expressed his feelings and hurt at her decision to walk out abruptly. He may not exercise any rights on Priya coz she is a friend but he was Pihu's only guardian for the time Priya was in jail. He might not be Pihu's father but he is no less than one. He loves Pihu and their bond is genuine. I hope they don't spoil it by showing Krish turn negative. I wish Maitryi could dump Neeraj and marry Krish 😆
Coming to Priya not opening up to Ram, I think Vaidarbhi has already done a good job there. I have nothing more to add.
