Alia or Aishwarya? Who is the better actress?

Aishwarya isnt the best actress ever BUT...She is better than Alia, in the sense that she can DO more. She can do period movie roles like Devdas, Chokar Bali, Jodha Akabr....to a movie about a domestic violence victim like Provoked...off beat films like Raincoat..a caretaker in Guzarish. She can do item numbers like Kajra Re or Ishq Kamina and look hot. She can do lighter/modern roles like Robot or Taal and still pull them off. She can shine in small roles like Mohabbatein or ADHM. She has screen presence, dancing abilities, beauty....and yes lots of flops too (due to lack of support and the whole Salman issue). But you cant deny that she has an aura and is a star. She is iconic, whether you like her or not. Aishwarya can't do it all, but she is certainly MORE versatile than Alia.

I wont say Alia is not a good actress, but she is LIMITED in what she can do. There is a lot she can't do. Yes she has also done well in Udta Punjab or Raazi. But she is not iconic and comes with a lot of privileges, support and behind the scenes manipulation where roles literally get made for her to hide her weak points.

Sadly, there are others that are better than both of them but you guys aren't interested in them.

I like Aishwarya about a million times more and that's all I'll say. ❤️

What an insult to Ash. She’s so much better than that overrated and average Alia. Ash can act above average, dance and look good while Alia can only do just average acting.

Not some Meryl Streep, but million years ahead as a performer than the cringy actress Aish with that monotonous shrill artificial dialogue delivery.

But everyone knows non actress Aish will win this poll as this forum is obsessed with hating Aliaa 🤪

Alia is overrated on this forum

Aishwarya has performed better in her roles from mansi to kiranjeet to jodha to sarbjit.

Aishwarya looks the part for roles whereas Alia looks like a teenager wherever you put her. Alia still doesn't cry well.
