I think Hania Farhan’s chemistry is a blockbuster despite the shoddy writing, typical story, endless dukh And no physical romantic intimacy. They have had pretty close scenes just not romantic close if you know what I mean. Yeh chemistry asli chemistry hoti hai. So credit to them where its due. Their chemistry has risen above all flaws. Otherwise physical romantic scenes mein sabki chemistry ban he jaati hai easily. Not many accept get this but it’s the truth. The aakhon se dekhni wali, sirf haath pakarne se combust karne wali chemistry (Halza) is the real chemistry.

P.S. Still does not change the fact that I find Rumza the only hot couple on PTV, as in their scenes were written that way that they appeared more hot than the usual cute and adorable 😆

@Bold So true ! I think its because both are fabulous actors who have invested themselves 100% in their characters.

@Red I agree for how the romantic scenes where written, it was super cute and ship-hot but 1) Feroze se I have some problem it seem, cant find him good as an actor in any show 2) couldn't ship them because the fact that she was part of his plan and he was just using her all along is such a tired and disgusting trope tbh 😕

@bold issi baat ka rona hai .the chemistry is fire and combustible. It doesn't require the physicality of display but as viewers we are left so high and dry🤣🥺

I remember Fawad once said, it's the idea of "virgin romance" that makes Pak dramas so popular. The intention of an act through eyes or words, the gestures and responses. The moment BEFORE the deed happens, that's the hook step of Pak dramas and they ace in it(not always unless there are actors who do this enchanting thing).

His subject in that question was zindagi gulzar hai, which also had like ONE side hug that too when kashaf thought he was cheating on her and whoever asked him , queried on how romance can be shown without even them sitting close.

Fawad and Farhan have somehow adapted the eye thing very well, in SRKs words, to look at your heroines like she's the only woman in this universe.

But what's more important is if the heroine is reciprocating that intense display of acting with some equally good performance.

It could be other way round...some heroines can make the hero see her as the only woman...or maybe men display romance better coz we expect them to do the wooing 🤣
