I don't know why people have this impression that Alia is a poor sheltered innocent who has been bewitched by RK. She's smart, focused,ambitious and has the skills to get all that she wanted from life - from career to her choice of boyfriend. Granted she sounds like a clueless 18 yr old most of the time. But that doesn't mean she's dumb.

Exactly. She is exactly where she wanted to be. She is far from dumb. She has kjos support but she didn't climb to the top by being dumb.

Good or bad, she wanted ranbir and she got him. I doubt she has any delusions about what he is.
