Liking the character interaction so far

Though I liked Dev's vishwas, I kinda felt like the friend might've shown what would typically be anticipated. He's not wrong in his position as not everyone's a saint in today's world. I think the viewers wanted to exude that the friends, especially the female friend of Dev, will churn out to be conscious of her & her husband's image in front of Dev. What would've been better is if that female friend owed up her mistake on a genuine basis, since it they will try to demean Vidi & are looking for a payback opportunity.

I kinda liked how Vidi, even though shown to naive & skittish, isn't completely one brainless FL. She has good track of keeping financial record. Also, she's a goof, she does pick up from errors. What was also nice was Dev's reaction towards Vidi's behavior. Like when she called him an uncle at first place, he didn't hyperventilate or something. Later, when she stated that the daughter (who was his step-sister in the photo) with him was pretty, he didn't react much and let her go without going overboard. Plus, these interactions haven't been overdone & has been decently performed, like no OTT romantic reaction has been shown. It seems like he might put her for some job related to finance/accounting since her acumen is sharp & accurate. 😂 Man, even my mathematical hisaab-keetab falls flat in front of her. 😆

Also, I liked the moment when Vidi said, how her mother told her to return the ring to its original place, she placed it unintentionally in Dev's finger. It didn't go the typical route of typical eye-locks but rather got the reason behind the action. I liked that moment being handled so far. Actress playing Vidi's mother was nice. Especially, when she joked that she was teasing Vidi about the ring, while Vidi was panicking, I liked that moment. It was sweet & nice.

Dev is a very good person who trusts people and think well of them. And I really like his character though it is rare to meet such kind people today. I agree with you that his friends' reaction was totally justified.

His female friend has felt the disgrace and humiliation though her husband didn't take it to heart. She set her mind on making Vedhi pay for it.

Rachana Mistry's acting is so convincing; her dialogues' delivery and her expressions were amazing smiley32. And the way Dev asked her to sit down then talked to her calmly was really delightful 😳. Exactly as you mentioned their interactions were so simple and decent.

Well, let's see which job she will get !

ya, that scene where she's trying to put the ring on his finger shows how innocent and pure she is! She did just as her mother asked her to do.

Bold: Actually, her husband is in cahoots as per today's episode. Rachna's okay so far. Also, its Amba-free lol. But, that touchy-touchy DIL is annoying. 😆 I think while the step-mother is right that Dev's dedicated his life towards personal and professional life to sustain the Raichand clan to where it is today, like it's good to see someone think that Dev's dedicated his life, the step-brother has a point that Dev did so by choice and could've chosen not to do so. Problem with the step-brother is that he's cribbing about it and just working in the kitchen + suffering from taunts 😂 . I mean, he's just been pigeon-holed to attempting his passion in the kitchen but he is right that Dev chose to dedicate to sustain the Raichand business and family members, with noble intentions.

It's nice that his step-mother acknowledge his sacrifice. But it wasn't Dev's choice, it was his duty as he is the elder of his siblings and it was his father's last wish.

I understand Abhimanyu's character. His dream is to work as a chef. This is his passion and there is nothing wrong about it. And Dev didn't ask him to join him in company. His wife is really annoying; the way she demeans him is so awful. She keeps comparing him with his brother. Everyone has his own unique personality, traits and dreams. And we shouldn't force people to change and to resemble others.

Liked all of the characters and actors so far... it is different story...

NOT to offense, my only complain is:

why itv has to show FL is getting married to ML of her father's age just because he is understanding her.... or just because she is clumsy - not so confident girl...💔 if she is 21-24 yrs and dev is around 50 ?? is huge age difference.

some of us ..will defend...age does not make any difference in true love... let me tell this - IT DOES. .... if physical proximity is not important only pure love is... than he can adopt her... (don't throw tomatoes - just fact)!!!

writers/makers can show him in 30's.... upper 30's ...like 35-38 as he took care of his siblings ... must be around 10 years older than them...

I understand your point of view. The theme of the show is love story of a couple with age gap. And it isn't something bizarre, it happens in real life.

According to the story, Dev is 45 years old and Vedhi might be 24 years old. The plot is progressing gradually. Dev isn't interested in getting married. He is aware of the age difference between him and Vedhi as he didn't mind her calling him uncle.

We have to wait and see how will their love story unfolds as for now there is no romantic angle.

Adopting her would be an option if he has affection for her. But the scenario here is totally different. And there is nothing wrong with Dev falling in love with Vedhi. It has nothing to do with age. For sure, they will face difficulties in their lives.
