Though I liked Dev's vishwas, I kinda felt like the friend might've shown what would typically be anticipated. He's not wrong in his position as not everyone's a saint in today's world. I think the viewers wanted to exude that the friends, especially the female friend of Dev, will churn out to be conscious of her & her husband's image in front of Dev. What would've been better is if that female friend owed up her mistake on a genuine basis, since it they will try to demean Vidi & are looking for a payback opportunity.
I kinda liked how Vidi, even though shown to naive & skittish, isn't completely one brainless FL. She has good track of keeping financial record. Also, she's a goof, she does pick up from errors. What was also nice was Dev's reaction towards Vidi's behavior. Like when she called him an uncle at first place, he didn't hyperventilate or something. Later, when she stated that the daughter (who was his step-sister in the photo) with him was pretty, he didn't react much and let her go without going overboard. Plus, these interactions haven't been overdone & has been decently performed, like no OTT romantic reaction has been shown. It seems like he might put her for some job related to finance/accounting since her acumen is sharp & accurate. 😂 Man, even my mathematical hisaab-keetab falls flat in front of her. 😆
Also, I liked the moment when Vidi said, how her mother told her to return the ring to its original place, she placed it unintentionally in Dev's finger. It didn't go the typical route of typical eye-locks but rather got the reason behind the action. I liked that moment being handled so far. Actress playing Vidi's mother was nice. Especially, when she joked that she was teasing Vidi about the ring, while Vidi was panicking, I liked that moment. It was sweet & nice.
. And the way Dev asked her to sit down then talked to her calmly was really delightful 😳
