Rahul Roy craze in the 90's

I was too small but I remember the craze for this guy among my older cousins. Just did a bit of research and found out he debuted with Aashiqui in 1990. I was only 4 at that time, but I do remember my elder sister had a huge crush on him, and so did all her classmates.

I have watched one movie of his with Pooja Bhatt, where the songs were amazing.

Can anyone shed some light on what happened to him and why he fizzled out?

He was 1 film wonder, like Prabhas is today in Hindi Dub films.

This was so bad

I never, never liked him.

I think the film's music had a HUGE part to play in its success.

I havent seen the film, but I really like the songs.

whenever i see his acting, i always felt , he has cold and holding his mucus.
