As we know a lot of Indian production houses have been scrambling to buy Kdrama rights for a while now. I think the shows will now begin to release one by one. This thread is an 'attempt' to keep track of shows that were inspired, remakes, or partly copied from South Korean shows/films. Plz feel free to add to the list.

Yes. My bad. I made an error while copy pasting the list🤣 coz I mixed up both MinHo shows. It is Boys Over Flowers. Thanks for pointing it out.

Can we really call KYY is remake of kdrama BOF since BOF was itself adapted from Hana Yori Dango (manga) and its first remake was taiwanese version meteor garden.

Btw dont mind me but in list you should put Indian shows/movie word on right hand side & original kdrama/movies word on left hand side

And in case of heirs and BOF version it should be reverse

Barfii movie copied some scenes from south korean movie lovers concerto but it was not remake/adaption.

Otherwise most of list is correct 👍🏼👍🏼

Agreed The Flower of Evil remake looks dull. Lee Joon-gi was a great choice because he looked like an innocent perfect husband/father.

Also Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is Korean inspired? Lol 🤣
