Hindi cinema literally has never seen such a DEARTH for true blue Indian actresses having the star quality other than the decadeS started after 2010.
Madhubala, Meena kumari, Rekha, Hema Malini, Madhuri, Sridevi, Aishwarya, even Kareena and Priyanka seems like a DREAM now going by the low standards now.
There was a time even in 90s when there was no LACK of amazing actresses , there was a lineup.
Now post 2010 forget about dreamy divas, we dont have anyone who even looklike a star material.
But out of these post 2010 choices, who you think will emerge as a winner.
Names are in the subject line...
ALAS that old true blue Hindi cinema....and alas those real heroines :(
Ye log mein khali Aliaku aati thodi bhot acting. Thodi badi hongi toh maybe bachchi bhi kam lagengi. Toh andhe gaon mein wahich hongi kaani rani.
ETA: Kiara ko kaise bhool gaye bawa. Wahich hongi abhi ek number pe.

Its impossible to have stars in the age of social media
You cannot be in awe of someone who is being trolled every day for every little thing. That wall has broken and honestly, the Bollywood stars are to blame as much for being too active and easily accessible on SM
Alia is the best actress among the actresses mentioned in this list. Pari is underutilised. Shraddha has great screen presence. Tara is extremely beautiful but neither has screen presence nor acting chops. Rest are pathetic & surviving due to PR. PR hypes their tatti performances.
Edited by Lostsoul11 - 1 years agoKriti and alia can act. They act well.
But the problem is they ALL look like clones of each other.
All of them.
The video for Kudi nu nachne de is itself a testimony of that.
All thin, fair and same smile.
