Of course they are struggling, they have had the most damaging campaign unleashed against the industry in Mumbai EVER, never before has it been this out in the open and so dirty, by people who want to steal the industry so they can man it under their thumb, and they can control what you see or do not see, they have arrested, manhandled, sabotaged, given fake awards and constantly bombarded the paid media with blinds and lies, that ignorant masses believe...

ALSO and a big motive that has helped this hate campaign is the fact that the world is still in the tail end of the pandemic, there are still people being diagnosed and all kinds of scary strains announced, so people could still be concerned preferring not to take too many risks, and wait for OTT because that is where all films end up in a matter of weeks anyway.

Also the ECONOMY folks! Everyone has had extra expenses because lock down is deceptive, you still have to eat and some people over bought online just to keep busy and while many worked from home some lost their jobs. The Indian Rupee is at 79.85 (today) per dollar, so you can tell we are well into some form of economical downturn. In the USA the booming housing market has entered a recession and the continuing inflation will start to make is mark across all industries and other countries. I am not sure how bad it will be but prepare for the worst.

So my final PO is that these film makers have to STOP making these mega budget movies (by Indian Standards 200cr is way too much to spend on a movie right now) in particular when most do not really show original or innovative ideas. Get back on a working budget that is logical and sensible in their market today.

They have to start creating interesting content and quit the waste on all the fluff they make that does nothing to enhance the film. There is NO WAY they are going to recover 200cr or 300cr week after week for every big budget film they put out, I do not care who is in it. It is something the public simply cannot sustain. Maybe OTT is coming up on the industry faster than they imagined....

Real test for bhai gonna be if he will be able to beat KGF record 😆let’s see if he can save bollywoods kaala face
