When BW is struggling to get even 15 cr openings

Look how many 20+ crore openings , Salman alone has

Pre Pandemic time was different, cinema ka ek particular crowd tha jo ab move on kar gaya to other mediums, economy suffer kar rahi hai abhi last 2 years ke baad people are not willing to spend money on something they can watch for free

1. Most films are bakwas. Not worth watching even for free on TV.

2. I think during lockdown people just got used to consuming content on OTT. Compared to pre-lockdown, a lot of people are now comfortable using OTT.

I mean even my parents who never watched anything on OTT pre-lockdown, now use Netflix, Prime, and Hotstar regularly. A bit too regularly, sometimes I get logged outta my accounts thanks to that.😆

When you know the films WILL eventually come on OTT in a month or two, why bother. Not everyone is hung-up on the "theater experience" (speaking for myself here, I am not).

Also, a lotta people ran out of content during lockdown and started watching shows/films in other languages (Meeee!). Now I cant get enough of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese shows. What Bollywood?

If not for lockdown, I would have never bothered to learn to multi-task (read subtitles and watch a show at the same time). Used to hate that, but now sometimes I catch myself reading subtitles for languages I know (Hindi/English/Malayalam) before realizing it.

Sooryavanshi opened at 26 cr.
