While I know that Karan has been a powerful figure for more than a decade , IMO what makes these newbies more susceptible to him is more so because of the authority they granted him.

Sara wouldn't want a falling out with Kjo, so won’t retaliate . I know it's sick to pick on the vulnerable, but these folks only aided to increase Papa Jo's notoriety, so I really don't feel much sympathy for her.

It's the case with every bully? They have the power because victims fear standing up to them.

And yeah, victims try to ingratiate themselves with bullies to avoid further problems or to get ahead. Still doesn't mean the bullying didn't happen.

In fact, if Sara has some shrewdness, she'll pull a Deepika and use this incident.

I haven’t even watched the episode and I feel bad for her 😆. And I’m one of those who couldn’t stand her. But yea bullying and humiliating someone is uncalled for.

From the way everyone is describing the episode it sounds like Sara has done something to really piss off KJo. She’s Nawab’s daughter and his bestie’s stepdaughter, he wouldn’t just go at her like this just for heck of it.

Sara is intelligent and willful, something his proteges, Alia, Janhvi, etc. don't come across as. Since he probably can't "mold" her as per his will to live vicariously through her, he doesn't like her. Just a guess. Plus he's a glory hunting snake and Sara hasn't been liked by people lately ... esp. after LAK and Coolie.

amrita singh was also very moohphut and strong willed, she acted with much bigger superstars ab, sunny deol etc and saif is quite strong too, they wont knowtow to kjo

but sara of course doesn't have her mom's natural ease and talent, she is so great in films like chameli ki shaadi and aaina

@Bold- She should give back to him for this, and I will laud her if she does, but I don't see it happening because she isn't particularly talented and still needs a "Kjo" to succeed in the business.

There are many producers but star kids sucking up to 'godfather' Kjo has added significantly to his arrogance and worsened his condescending attitude.

If these people stop sucking up so much to him, perhaps he'll tone down a little.

Actually, he seems to be relishing this tag & game and is becoming more rude when he shows favouritism.

Somewhere deep down these kids and their parents (who butter him up ) are responsible for how ugly this is becoming .

Deepika is not talented. Her only antic I so far appreciated is how she used the broken heart tag Ayan and Kjo gave her and used it to create an entire career. 😆 And got the last laugh on her ex and his coterie. She made him look like a total douchebag. Well, he did his part with his nasty comments, and his parents' attitude didn't help, but boy, did Ayan's comment backfire!😆

Dunno if Sara will have enough cunning to do something similar. Also, you need a level of ruthlessness to carry out such plans.

yes, it is sad that quagmire that bw had become, very toxic,

it was in the clutches of underworld and now this nonsense. i may sound superstitous but sushant's death and this toxicity has led to this bad run of bw, its needs a top down clean up

yearn for the days when you had "nepo" talent like mansoor khan, sooraj barjataya who brought us a juhi or madhuri, sunny deol made great movies with outsider rajkumar santoshi, wheere srk was picked from tv and an AB gave a zanjeer afetr 7-8 flops

Sara doesn't seem to have the strength necessary to carry out such a rebel while still succeeding in business. Deepika has come a long way in the business, despite the fact that she only makes glossy eyes and calls it acting. 😆
