Yes. But Dharma and YRF didn't *make* him as the poster claimed.

Dharma was actually broke before KKHH.

YRF did Darr with him because no one else was willing to do the role. DDLJ came after he already saw a lot of success.

It's not as if KJo and the Chopras picked a nobody and made him King Khan.

If that was true, Uday Chopra would've been ruling Bollywood.

The collaboration was very much a mutually beneficial arrangement between producers and star, not producer and newcomer who had more to gain.
