in this case, it's only right that the rich and famous who do the crime are caught and made an example of... so that kids who stupidly look up to these idiot actors as role models don't go astray.

by the way, someone I know was stone drunk multiple times in college. But he knew that if he was caught he could be expelled or be in for a bad time. If someone wants to take risks and be stupid, its their outlook. He couldn't have complained if he was caught. Just as an aside, he never did it after college. If he did today, the SEC or other people would be all over him. Point is you can get away with things if you're a college kid and under the radar, but not if you're in the radar.

That's why '90% of people' don't drive over the limits. And there's no comparison. Reckless driving takes lives. Weed makes lives better, which is why most developed countries have made it legal. 😆 India is still following back-assed British colonial rules in many cases, which nobody gives a shite about in today's world.

Ndps act is same for everyone and they like to go after rich and famous to set example…

I would argue that bharti is more famous than Rhea and was caught with way more weed than Rhea had… 86gm is not for personal use…

https://mumbaimirror.indiatimes.com/mumbai/crime/bharti-admitted-she-smoked-weed-bought-by-husband-ncb/articleshow/79357633.cms

She was given bail after one day, while aryan khan without any possession was kept in jail for more than 24 days…

Bharti also had more weed in possession than Rhea…

So all those theories abt ncb not being used to settle scores and witch hunt can be laid to rest

consenting individuals? What nonsense is that? So I go drag racing on the roads with my buddy and one of us gets killed... and its ok because we were consenting adults? Try to make more sense, my friend😆

consider: the guy who is caught speeding is also not harming anyone... unless he crashes into someone/ something.

similarly druggies might not be harming others... until the day someone commits suicide because they were doped out. Or until the day they steal or kill someone for money to buy drugs. Or until the day they beat their spouse or partner because they are zoned out.

see there is a reason why governments (and implicitly the people who elect them) formulated these laws. In this case, the law was enacted in 1985 by congress. If you think you know better, you should try to get the laws changed. Don't be whining otherwise😆

Nobody commits suicide over weed, just like nobody overdoses on weed. Stop spouting this nonsense. Weed isn't heroin, LSD or coke.

now you're talking even more nonsense. There's something called contributing factors. We really don't know what pushes people over the edge. It's like health. You could be an SRK smoking like a chimney and not get lung cancer. But it adds up. Its probabilities. I also gave you other things it leads people to that are bad for them, bad for society. If it was all good, there'd be no reason the US would have banned it too. You should try to use some logic instead of just going hyper because its your Rhea whose arse is on fire or just because its BJP at the centre😉😆

wrong again. Cannabis is illegal even in the US. In fact, it was under pressure from the US that India under congress enacted the ban in 1985. As for other "developed" countries, it is illegal in most countries with exceptions for medicinal purposes.

Mahisa, earlier you claimed it was legal in India. Now this. Do check your facts before going public. Its so embarrassing to constantly point out your errors😉😆

Your blabbering won't alter facts. Weed doesn't have any harmful effects, that's a proven fact. Even alcohol pushes people over the edge, so shall we ban alcohol now? There's nothing to prove that weed is bad for society in any way. Let's ban smoking first then, shall we? Also, you're so wrong. Possession of more than a prescribed quantity of weed is NOT classified as a crime under the Penal Code. Do your reading, seriously.

Weed is banned much like criminalisation of homosexuality. Weed was an offering to Lord Shiva in ancient India, and even now people do it openly, including sadhus at holy places. I'm sure our ancient sages knew better. There's a reason nobody anywhere gives a fook about this 'law' even though it exists. 😆

Yeah, so it was legal until Nixon the crook pressured India into banning it. Tells you everything, doesn't it? You just scored a self-goal with that one there. Ciao😉
