I believe these are things one can experience only when he/she is in that kind of relationship.

If after marriage, you are happy & in love with your partner, then u cud adjust to anything. U won't want to spoil the marriage for anything. U will sort things in ur own way..

It's not out of love though. She clearly can't do anything to stop her gangster of a husband nor she can leave him, so she comes up with some philosophical concept to save her remaining dignity.

A relationship at the cost of dignity and values is not worth it.

Jo infidelity Karna hai karo problem is when people find out so be very careful.

She falls for him before marriage. She got to know about Munna's reason for marriage on Day 1. It was then just a compromise for her after that. It may sound cheesy or BS that she is asking him not to give his heart to anyone, but that is the only truth she feels in their relationship, which she wants to save.

I think real life mein isse bhi weird hoti hongi situation, but in the series it is shown in a less awkward way.

@ So she has knowingly jumped on this. Then she must be knowing what she is doing and how important is that relationship for her even at the cost of her dignity.

I have not watched this series so I equated her with helpless naghma of GOW, who had to give the permission for her husband to save her some respect.

Emotional infidelity as a concept is used by people, usually women, who have no control over their male partner’s and for various reasons won’t walk out of the relationship. But I don’t think it’s specific to ameer log. Ameer, gharib, middle class, they all have cheating dogs amongst them and partners who will look the other way.

I do agree with you that she could have ended the marriage or put her foot down to save her dignity.

As I said, one can only decide when he/she is in that relationship. In series, this was the point when Munna fell for her, so the writer must have written that way.

GOW - It was typical Bihar style house chaos. She couldn't do anything beyond that, so she accepted Sardar khan in that way, may be for her kids.

I think the line of tolerance varies for people. This is something couples should discuss and draw their own personal boundaries.

Many people tolerate physical infidelity because sex can exist without love. They do not see it as a threat to the relationship as a whole.

Some people experience compersion (deriving joy from your partner's joy, opposite of jealousy) and may be open to both emotional and physical infidelity. Many polyamorous couples allow their partners to form emotional and sexual bonds with others.

Unfortunately, historically there has been an imbalance. Men have had more freedom to practice sexual infidelity. Women have had more freedom to practice emotional infidelity. It is based on archaic notions that men can have sex without strings, but women cannot and women cannot be promiscuous because you don't know which man is the father. Women are equally capable of having sex without strings and men can totally form an emotional bond even if they thought it was just sex. Simple DNA tests can determine paternity. And for many women paternity is irrelevant as they feel capable of raising children on their own.
