The madness of the above show doesn't end here. The man who forcibly married the girl, was actual groom's brother and all of them are now living under same roof including the actual groom's ex wife. Next another girl in show threatened her husband to slit her throat if doesn't divorce her and marry his ex girlfriend😕

The whole logic of any iTV first marriage is always beyond my understanding whether the couple is compatible or forced. Does not sit well when the circumstances are such that there is more negativity than happiness in the whole mix. But the drama is sometimes entertaining, especially the dhoom taana ones from the past. Anyways, noone should be encouraged to be emulating this standard in their real life relationships, but a lot of people do, and that is more disturbing.

marriages are taken very lightly and granted in itv

they treat it like a source to get trp

hence multiple marriages of same person if the show goes on for long

and bride or groom swap no logic at all 🤪

the only kind of marriages i like in itv where marriages are taken place smoothly, and the promises they make to each other

i especially like the arranged marriage ones and at least the ones where they know who r they marrying , no forced marriage at all

but sadly they show such marriages rarely in itv these days

There are several ways to marry! However, these weddings are strange and bizarre!!🤪

Many melodramatic wedding sequences have recently occurred on ITV serials!

Recently, a clip from one of the prominent television shows depicting the 'accidental shaadi' scene which has started surfacing on the Internet. The clip, that shows some sindhoor getting stuck to the sleeves of the male protagonist inadvertently falls on a woman’s hair, and they started believing that their shaadi hogayi, without anyone's interference including the involved two persons!!!🤪

Another bizarre wedding on TV --

Accidental wedding is one of the most frequent tropes used across Indian serials, despite the trenchant criticism it receives. Makers continue to come up with creative ways to execute the familiar plot twist, over and over again, leaving viewers dumbfounded!! The latest sequence that is going viral is from a Bengali TV show, where a man marries a woman in the most absurd way possible.

The video doing rounds on the internet shows while a wedding is going on, where the bride, Debina and the groom, Samaresh , are ready to exchange the garlands. However, suddenly, another man, Bubai , is seen pushing the groom from behind, and the bride ends up accidentally garlanding him!

While everyone seems in utter shock, including the bride, the man snatches the garland from the groom’s hand and puts it on the bride. And if that wasn’t outlandish enough, he then goes on to smear her head with vermilion.

This happens in every regional language serial; one way or the other!

How far it is acceptable? Without the consent of the bride, marrying a girl in an unusual method and subsequently telling her that you are mine????

after watching this clip I'm not shocked that they gonna force the girls to accept this forced marriage bcz it a marriage doesn't matter if guy is not good or girl doesn't like him '' Ab sadi hogi hai too nibhana padega ''

ITV take sadi as source of TRP doesn't matter it forced or accidental yaa guy and him family his totally bitch 🤪

Just get them married and dramas start how many ways they can make FL suffer in the name of proving that she is the best bahu.. '' bahu hai to it her duty to correct her husband and his family

ITV became very regressive, negative and full on promoting affairs and double marriage very openly and TRP audiences enjoying it very sickening thing 🤢

PS. I just to enjoy itv in past show's like EK hazaaron mein meri Behna hai how beautiful bond siblings can share and can do anything to help them in tough times and arrange marriage can be very amazing and beautiful and successful ❤️

I just watched a real clip from youtube. It was a wedding clip in real life.

The bride looks young's and literally begs her parents not to get her married. Her words were like please mom and please dad, I don't want to get married 🥺.

The groom literally ties the wedding necklace as she said those words forcefully and her parents subdue her to get married . As if that wasn't enough the entire family hears the bride's cry and does subdue her to get married as well.

P.S: My point is that this is the reality of forced marriage. ITV should stop showing such thing as Romance

Oh!! Such a wonderful topic.... I was taking a long break from forums.. because ITV disappointed me again (Nothing new.... It happens all the time... I get hooked.. get hurt... cold turkey..and repeat the cycle again)..

This topic brought me back from my long hibernation.

Everyone have already pointed out almost all the areas.. But I am here to stand up for the common man..Those people who obviously never get any recognition but are still part of all the ITV marriages..

Sure, They are taken for granted, sure they are treated as invisible heck sometimes even non-existent, but that doesn't mean they have no feelings.. that they have no rights.. And I am here to talk about them.. because they are as much important as the Dulha-Dulhan.

1. The 'Maggie guests':

Image

The Maggie guests are vital for all the ITV marriages. They are guests who appear only during the important events. We will never know who they are.. and mostly we don't even need to know. Are they relatives? distant relatives? ancestors? friends? enemies? terrorists? neighbors? villagers? politicians? Street vendors? gate crashers? Who knows? All we know is that they are there to stand coordinately around the mandap and silently stare at the mandap. They will be the most polite guests who won't even talk to each other or react to any single thing happening in the mandap(except in case of any disaster.. they are the first to escape... No Maggie causalities so far). They also fulfill their duties such as eating the invisible food provided by the invisible caterers. And the most amazing part of these guest are that the disappear in an instant. there are no lingerers. There will be no guest who would stay in the house asking for an extra bedsheet or a mosquito repellent. because all the guests vanish in an instant.

2. The invisible caterers:

Image

Now, any one attending an Indian wedding knows that the food is the integral part of the wedding. But ITV Caterers have much more on their plate. They are not there to cook and serve food. They are there to cook invisible food in an invisible cooking area. Then the invisible food have to be served in invisible cutlery to Maggie guest (and not any real family member) and that too in an invisible dining area. And In case of natural disasters (especially fire) the cooking area becomes visible but the staff invisible. And after all this we will never know if the caterers received their cheque or not because the 'shadi' was a forced or accidental.

3. The 'Shararat' decorators:

The ITV wedding decorators are super human beings. Let's not pretend that everyone didn't know that already.. okay? They don't just decorate a mansion.. they decorate the mansion multiple times a week with different colors and themes. These people have to decorate the mansion multiple times not just for wedding but for any random puja or party.

But the most important of their super power is they Vanish all the decorations by the snap of their fingers.

Image

They clean all the mandap, flowers decorations etc.. by the next morning especially before the 'Baahu' does the 'Aarti'

4.The depressed band-baja- wallahs:

Image

Most, if not all, ITV Baraats should have these. The depressed looking band which disappears the moment Dulha steps into the house. Did they receive money for their lackluster performance? will they ever know that the 'Dulha' they accompanied could not get married to the right 'Dulhan' or maybe did not even marry.

Why are they so depressed? Did they not receive payment for the previous ITV marriage they attended?

5.The ever optimistic Photographer:

Yes, He is there... You would never see him but he is there. We know he is there because there will always be a framed wedding photo to be broken for any future 'Apshagun'. A wedding album for everyone to skim through the pages during future 'sad' times. A couple photo for the future 'Vamp' to burn and have a huge evil monologue planning to destroy the couples happiness. Now that we have established he is there, Let's appreciate what he does. No matter what the situation is, Bride/groom swapping, Forced marriage, accidental marriage he have to capture the perfect 'Kodak' moments.

He have to take photos like these:😒😭

Image Image

And convert them into these:🥳

Image

A huge round of applause. This man deserves the respect for the hard work he puts into this. And Again.. we are never sure that HE gets paid or not.

6. The 'Come-at-me-with-all-you got' Panditji:

Image

No one ever mentioned it. But ITV weddings are not mere 'Shadis', they are 5 seasons of 'Khatron ke Khiladi' jammed into one hour. Bride/groom swapping and forced/accidental marriages seems like preliminary rounds compared to the rest of the possibilities. There could be

  • Fire

Image

  • Flood

Image

  • Thunder storm

Image

  • Cyclone

Image

  • Earthquake

Image

  • Naagin Attack

Image

  • Alien attack

Image

  • Meteor crash

Image

Anything is possible in the Mystical land of ITV. It all depends on the VFX budget the show got and the amount of Vamps and Villains.

And the Panditji is in the center of all these making two people, (who may/may not even like each other) tie the knot. Forget paycheck, this guy should insist on Life insurance.

Image

These are the people who make the ITV wedding the spectacle that it is... These are the people who withstand all the non-sense that is thrown at them and continue contributing to the ridiculousness known as ITV Shadi. They may not be acknowledged, they maybe forgotten in the next scene, They maybe replaced in between any cuts.. because they are invisible to the audience.. But it is also true that without them we may never enjoy the month-long weddings of ITV.

And lets hope all these people are getting full payment in advance.

🤣 I can't stop laughing this was hilarious!! I have always wondered about the payments and wastage that happens in most shows at any event, not just wedding. The vamps destroying food by adding namak, mirch (usually the entire dabba), yesterday on saas added nimbu to kheer, so it went bad just so she can say to Bahu tumhari maa ne basi kheer bheji 😡 and the Bahu has to apologise even when poor thing didn't do anything.

Full advance payments 🤣 hopefully they do, considering these fams are millionaires at least.

Acco to the ITV makers, a female lead should be like a dumb headed > atrociously with a very low self-esteem!! Neither moral nor legal knowledge, sehan leti hai all sorts of torture, including forceful marriage, abortion, child abuse etc.

TV media has a high level of social responsibility, yet serial producers are now TRP and money oriented machines. That is very unfortunate.
