It makes me SICK that the talk is all of Varun friggin' Dhawan. When a LARGE chunk of audiences are going just to see Kiara. Some are going just for the music. Many are there for Anil Kapoor. Not to mention Neetu Kapoor who is personally my #1 reason for watching the film (when it arrives on Netflix). In that case you should have also make same climes about Kathrik when Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released, It also had Kiara as well as Tabu with health other Supporting Actors, It also had a successful Director who always guarantee decent opening as well as it was a cult film Sequel, He got more benefit than Varun but all of you were no were to been seen complaining.

Varun and Alia's PR has always been doing this. All of their flop movies are given semihit tag. Ek bar perception ban gaya hit ka toh ban gaya.

ETA: Now Varun has been live chatting with industry minnows asking them to call the movie a hit and a great film... just like 2016-17's KWK episode guests had been told to congratulate Kjo for his "hit" movie ADHM.

what about anupam kher (kashmir files) and karthik aryan, when will he beat them?

all these new gen actors including ranveer and ranbir are only as good as the films they star in. they are miles away from superstardom of likes of ab, rajesh khanna, srk or salman who ensured openings irrespective of the movie quality.

the industry (ppl like kjo) feed these actors wrong perceptions and they become too big for their boots and sink.

whoever puts his head down and works hard, finds new pastures and keeps at it will be the next star

So true, why is KA's BB2 credited to him? Just cos he is an outsider?
