JugJugg Jeeyo Scores Reasonable Opening Day

Jugjugg Jeeyo scored a reasonable opening day in the range of 8.50-8.75 crore nett as it scored good collections in Delhi city, Gurgaon and Noida. These places saw collections close to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and better than the other original content released this year be it Gangubai Kathiawadi, Samraat Prithviraj and Bachchhan Pandey but the circuit of Delhi / UP was held back by collections in the state of UP.

Jugjugg Jeeyo managed to score over Gangubai Kathiawadi in Delhi / UP but not Samrat Prithviraj. The collections in other areas were metro based so pockets of South was next best followed by Mumbai city. Here this circuit was let down by Maharashtra and Gujarat. East Punjab could have done better but outside Gurgaon collections were very average.

There should be some good growth on Saturday but the growth on Saturday is not like before the pandemic when 50 or 60% can come so it really becomes a story about where do you land on Monday. It will all depend on the merits and how the bigger cities like the film as these will drive it in the long run.

Irrespective of the merits of the film and where it eventually goes the opening is a plus for Varun Dhawan compared to the numbers some of his contemporaries have fetched like Shahid Kapoor (Jersey), Tiger Shroff (Heropanti 2) and Ranveer Singh (Jayeshbhai Jordaar). Here Heropanti 2 had a larger reach while other two had a similar target audience to Jugjugg Jeeyo. The film to open better with the younger heroes was Bhool Bhuliayaa 2 but that had a market in mass which makes a huge difference especially when Hindi circuits take to it.

At this point it’s futile to react to any of their articles which are clearly agenda driven against Ranveer as everyone can see it because they are not even attempting to hide it anyway.😆 Comparing a niche JB with a commercial JJJ once again clearly shows what these people are up to. If it were one of their favorites, they would’ve made sure to mention the number of screens and what not to justify whatever the agenda they had to fulfill as per who was filling their pockets. 😆

Lol box office phirse shuru ho gaya to propp JJJ as the next best thing.All the three movies have a niche and a particular audience JJ(social drama lover), Heropanti2 (action lover) and Jersey (Sports lover) so they doing bad business than JJJ is not a big deal.If BB2 has a market in mass then JJJ is also a mass family entertainer movie so it should have atleast done better than BB2 in its opening day atleast.It couldn't even beat the first day collections of BP,SP and Gangubai even being a family entertainer movie lol.

Looks like BOI got a phone call from Varun’s PR. They are basically saying the movie will more than likely flop, but hey look Varun got a bigger opening than Shaid, Ranveer, and Tiger 🙄.

Kjo had lost it on Wednesday itself now as expected Varun has lost it, he sure doesn't know how to handle failure, this is second hand embarrassment stuff and works against the credibility of the movie tbh which could still survive.

Varun is so insecure that it ends up looking funny. Also this is a multi starrer so… he can’t be credited for the opening.

So the box office figure magically increased by 1 cr overnight? 8 se 9 ho gaya? Did Kapoor-Dhawan and Johar add their own shagun in to make it 9
