This serial is a bundle of hypocrisy

More than learning what to do to empower a abused woman it shows what not to do?

1) Anupama hypocrisy to call vanraj shah mayka as her mayka. How can husband mothers home be wifes mother home? Even in modern america no one will say ex husband house is mothers house. Especially when the husband and mother and father in law have abused woman so much as Shahs have done for 27 years. Especially when the abused woman mother and brother are alive. Should all abused woman of india call torturing in laws as mom dad and mayka?

2) Anupama hypocrisy to keep relation with first husband after divorce in name of her children when that man has another wife. Is anupama not responsible for kavya and vanraj relation breaking by going everyday to shah house after divorce after he has another wife. Purposely to justify her going to vanraj home shes calling it mayka. Her mayka is kanta ben and bhavesh home not vanraj shah home. How will kanta ben and bhavesh feel when their daughter and sister call her abusive in laws who humilated kanta whenever she went to daughters sasural as mayka and in laws as baa bapuji. Does this mean vanraj is anupama brother not husband since his parents are anupama mother father by her own words

3) After second marraige which ex wife will call first husband to second husband house? Even around us people have second marraige they break all relations with first husband usually and never call to 2nd husband home. Why did anupama leave shah house since kavya was there right? So why shes calling vanraj to anuj house always? Tell him not to come and spoil her 2nd husband home. Even house warming she called him and asked are you coming? Anuj is another darpook aadmi why he invited Shahs to his house warming? Did he forget they snatched his fathers kapadia empire using his sister? Its like eishonower inviting hitler to function who destroyed pearl harbour no?

4) Woman whose abused for 26 years by in laws is calling them mom dad and forcing second husband to accept them as his mom dad. Excuse why anuj should go to shah house its not his mayka and sasural, kanta behen home is his sasural and his mayka is kapadia sadan Why he must go to shah house where he, GK, Mukku were humilated so much. Just to please anupama? If his mom dad there will they allow son to go to house which played love games with their daughter Mukku. He never invites kanta or bhavesh but always runs to shahs home so shamelessly. Self respect is zero in anuj and anu both

Honestly after watching this serial any man will shiver to marry a divorcee the way anupam aforcing shahs on anuj kapdia calling mayka. Instead of promoting women empowerment it has damaged more.

5) Anupama lies a lot and uses emotional blackmail to control anuj kapdia and her in laws like Mukku. Shes saying she does not want to see vanraj face ever. So why were you laughing and sitting with him and giving him tea coffeee at various times. In office vvanika/kapdia empire house anu madam was laughing and enjoying with vanraj(as put on twitter). If i had time i will give more scenes where shes standing so close to ex hubby that anyone will think shes only his wife not kavya. During vanraj trapping Mukku in office when anuj got doubt she said vanraj is not womaizer. If hes not for 9 years he will have ema with kavya or trap mukku or what? God knows how many short term flings this vanraj had which neither anu nor kavya know.

6) Why hes invited to your home by phone asking are you coming Mr. Shah? Tell him you are uninvited to my husband home over any woman will say that in USA or india. If anuj kapdia dad and mom there vanraj will be thrown out of gate first day and anupama will get few slaps for calling him to anuj home. No mom dad will allow their sons wife taking so much advantage of their son goodness and keeping so cloe relationship with ex hubby or her ex sasural saying its mayka. But anupam ais taking too much davantage of anuj kapadia goodness non stop. When Mukku tried to speak against vanraj and baa anupama said she will slap Mukku. Will she dare speak like this to anuj mom dad too for vanraj and baa? Since anuj has no parents Mukku is like surrogate parent to anuj (most sisters are second mothers or daughters for brother and mother them against harm whether elder or younger brother) looking out his wellness so told what any sister will tell her bhabhi to keep away from ex hubby and in laws.

When vanraj was abusing ankush barkha and anuj where this lady braveness to slap mukku went away for vanraj? That itself shows she lijkkes vanraj and has special preference for him over anuj kapia family. My 3 children is just a tactic she usess to emotional blackmail anuj and barka or mukku and stop them from asking valid questions that any human will ask.

Day by day instead of sending positive woman empowerment message this serial will send negative message and scare any man thinking to marry divorce or widow away from thinking like that seeing anupam away of treating anuj kapadia against her ex sasural

switch off phone or block it or shout at vanraj to dare not call again or police complaint will go against him for troubling her stalking her

Anupama did not go to shah every day

No spouse will ever tolerate their SO being so close to their ex and regularly calling him for everything. Both also keep giving looks at each other. There is a reason after divorce couples legally divide time with kids, etc, so this exact thing doesn't happen and they dont cross path much

But ITV making jokes of relationships is nothing new

Wrong social messages are given because the protagonist has only become wrong.

Anupamaa:

1. Good daughter (gives more importance to toxic MIL than mother)

2. Good sister (sets and runs cafe for ex husband instead of poor brother who has started selling food with old mother from road stall)

3. Good wife (makes husband & family deal with abusive ex husband)

4. Good mother ( dumps Samar in that toxic Shah family, not talking about Toshu amd Pakhi as as per the serial Vanraj didn't allow Anupamaa to raise them properly)

5. Good MIL (throws Kinjal's mother out of the house as Rakhi insulted Baa who called her Naagin since day 1 and said that no one (incl. Kinjal) would keep any relation with her. Dumped Kinjal in toxic Shah house with retired Bapuji who doesn't have enough money to pay property taxes, homemaker Baa, jobless Vanraj, Kavya & Toshu and no maid)

Anupamaa has a charmed life with Anuj ready to give instant loans, emotional support , bear exes for the sake of wife's kids , getting husband's property, etc. but other divorced women do not have this luxury. Other divorced women need alimony money to survive financially and don't earn lakhs from dance classes to pay off 20 years property taxes and frauds in the names of bank loans. No one offers them instant partnership and they cant stay with their poor mother and brother who can't bear extra expenses. The serial was realistic before the divorce but is in some lala land since then.

I watched so far because of Anuj - he is unrealistic but lovable. I can't see him reasoning with Anupamaa only for her to her children excuse as a shield to allow Vanraj to do his nonsense. I don't want to see him die either of that's the path the show is going to take. If marriage to Anuj and having his support can't make Anupamaa a strong woman, I don't see what his death will achieve.

With all these rants, it seems clear to me that I am not at all enjoying this show. Obviously, I am missing something here because I got fed up of Anupamaa's unnecessarily long lectures and Vanraj's tantrums but the TRP is 3. So, I guess it's time for me to bid adieu to this show.

Now pakhi kidnapping track might come if cvs go by original version of anupama that is sreenoyee

In that Rohit ( anuj) ;nephew sarabjit( adhik) kidnap sreenoyee( anupama) daughter diti ( pakhi) now when pakhi will be kidnapp so vanraj and anupama will become worry and they will talk to each other and console each other and will find pakhi together

In same way samar will be have leg disease because of that he will not able to walk in that too both anupama and vanraj come together for samaar and both will give money for operations .

Btw now anupama is becoming boring because of so much festival v
