Mere humsafar has crossed all the level of decency. I don't even understand the reason behind popularity. Lead actors are famous, but content is disturbing. Female lead needs a good psychiatrist and medical care. One side she has been given a clueless husband who doesn't want to see the obvious thing. He is either busy with romance or shut her mouth. Other side 2 psychopaths haven been given free ground to haunt a mentally unstable pregnant woman to scare the shit out of her. Although ,Danish or Feroze have been tolerable on screen as they can act better than Salman. That is a diffrrent thing altogether 😆

You are absolutely right I stopped watching it for that reason. What’s wrong with a woman having a past? And if it’s past doesn’t mean she needs to tell her new partner about him. Poor Hala was a shivering mess on top of that her pregnancy, attempted abortion, Hamza’s meri ammi aisi nahi hai, and Khurram can affect a sane healthy person let alone an abused, mentally disturbed pregnant woman. Here they would send her to be treated and years worth of counseling.

I think if Hamza was that good he should have moved her out. He saw SJ beating her brutally knowing it was her daughter and also knew mum has kicked her out. But that show is done for me now. I will never watch it again. Too much negativity.

Why would it be a controversial if married people are on a bed talking? But yes could be the conservative society. You are also right ITV is more in tune to that. Specially after the #metoo and more awareness on how to treat a woman which I think they should have known but better late than never.

Also i think the public does react strongly when they show too much regressive stuff on ITV. I remember people heavily criticising one show where the male lead raped the fl. I think it was that Vivian- dristi show. I don't know what happened to the show or whether they changed the story. I don't lik Vivian so never watched any of his shows apart from the twilight-vampire diaries rip off. Also how people forced that pehredar Piya ka show to shut down.

Nowadays i think majority of the Indian youth don't even turn on tv at all. That explains the lack of youth oriented shows. Kaisi yeh yaariyan might be the last youth oriented show which got aired on tv. Now everyone is into webseries.

I so want to see a youth oriented pak drama. Are webseries big on Pakistan? I guess since there are less restrictions on web they can show better romance.
