Agree! Like I was saying in one of my previous posts, When same character is played by different actors it’s always fun to see how they play it. Hope KA brings something new to the table rather than trying to blindly emulate AA. He seems like a smart actor, so hoping for the best from him!

EDIT: Oh and you should watch AA’s video songs at least if not the entire movies. Full paisa vasool entertainment! :)

I think you need experince for it, like drishyam done by mohanlal, kamal hassan, venkatesh and ajay devgan

one may argue whether one is better or not, for me mohanlal the original was best but they all brought their own flavour

Good example. Amongst the 4 I loved Mohanlal and Venkatesh. Couldn’t relate to Ajay devgan and Kamal Hassan’s at all!

Venkatesh and the Telugu version of Drishyam got me pleasantly surprised. Mohanlal se toh expected hai! It’s been a while I enjoyed Kamal’s movies. Sadly he now comes across as a distorted version of himself.:( Ajay also surprised me with his below average acting or may be it’s the screenplay which did him dirty but I didn’t enjoy the Hindi one at all.

Mohan Lal is Hands down, I recently watched 12th Man, what a class act. Prime Video brings all his new movies, I have seen quite a lot like Lucifer, Drishyam 2.

I agree, venkatesh is very adept at these roles

kamal i just can't seem to like anymore or sadly even stand his acting, once his old set of directors phased out who kept him in check he is all over the place

ajay just seems so jaded and bored, sad considering he was good in zakhm, bhagat singh days

Above that, the fact which I noticed is that you don't need a perfect model body to be a hero. He is modern day Sanjeev Kumar for me. Powerful performer.

Does anyone have any knowledge about AHA OTT?

How many language films does it stream? I am actually looking to subscribe to it but wasn't sure if their stream films have subtitles or not?

oh how I miss sanjeev kumar when I look at all these mediocre performers with their perfect bodies and designer wear

those performances in sholay, anamika, koshish, mausam .....
