Somehow personally I feel, if RG and GK can take serious steps. If RG says she will leave the show, makers would bent to change the story. Anupama is now the worst example in today's society, she has zero empathy from me, she is hypocrite, as far as I am concerned.

GK playing a dumb lover boy in itself is not harmful. He is a weak guy, who will bend to any extent for his love. People like him are also real, unfortunately. So while his character is damaging, compared to Anupama for me he is still tolerable. We have men who dump his parents for wife, so Anuj ignoring Mukku is nothing new. Just that I can't ship or fangirl Anuj anymore.

The popularity they both have gained would have helped both actors get new project and good money. Still why they are not doing anything is beyond me. Somehow, it's all become a money game now, about TRP and Hero ki friendship.

Am disappointed and somehow today I can't call myself a fan of GK or RG anymore, won't be looking for their next work either. I am sure they have there own valid reasons to continue being a part of the serial.
That said, best wishes to both, a serial brings livelihood to lot of daily workers so definitely some good is being done too which can't be ignored.

"We have men who dump his parents for wife, so Anuj ignoring Mukku is nothing new." I would actually argue that the opposite happens more often in Indian society. Men who side with their parents no matter how wrong they are and no matter how badly they treat their DIL.
