Divorce? For him, it's already done! But....

Many have asked why Anubav did not mention divorce.

As always I will tell you from my point of view why...

Anubav is 'married' to Akriti. He knows very well what his "status" is and he knows very well to whom he has given the "rights". But one thing that put us all in doubt...

Why the word 'Talak' never came out of his mouth.

I'm going to say something that's going to sound "weird", but it's a rational brain view, so it doesn't often make much sense.

Sometimes we don't say certain things because we don't think it's important to say it because we know we're going to do it or it's not important to point it out.

For Anubav he doesn't need to say it because he knows he is going to do it and he is already on that path.

Yes we have not seen any indication that he is following this path yet there are several crumbs.

1. He has not given any rights to Akriti, the family has done so.
2. He does not let Akriti approach him, but GG knows every corner of his body...
3. He never said directly that Akriti is his wife, it was always GG who reminded him!
4. When someone says that Akriti is his wife, he is revolted, his being does not accept it!
5. Whenever Akriti created a scene, Anubav was immersed in hatred...
6. As soon as he decided that GG is his wife, it was over for Akriti.

Yes we like words, but often gestures are more than enough. When he told GG to give him time to find a solution, it was not to "delay" things, he knows that he was at fault for agreeing to marry Akriti, besides this witch, his family is the central piece of the story. So he has to "get it right".

So far, even when he's acting like a jerk because of Ronnie, he's always shown us what he wants.

So, why wait for him to say the word when he shows he wants this?

After that, you can say that the writers are doing it on purpose to make us doubt, with "maybe Anubav will end up doing what GG wants, he will stay with Akriti for his family..." But we know Anubav will never do that.

And Anubav has never been a man of much talk, I have always seen him as a man of action.

So for me to say the word means nothing, he can say it every day and it won't change the situation.

What counts is the action that is taken to do it.

As I said, he was in a hurry, they wanted time for themselves, freedom, so the Mumbai track fell like a hair in milk, it was badly done, but it's a good for a bad...

So to come back to the subject.

Is it really necessary for Anubav to tell GG that he is going to divorce him when we know that he has told GG a thousand times "you are my wife", "to give me time to work things out".

What does he have to work out? The situation he is in.

And what is the situation? Marriage with Akriti...

It's not very complicated to read between the lines.

And then remember, he told Garima that he is going to free Akriti, and how does he free her? Well, by divorcing her.

So you don't need to hear the word to understand that this is what Anubav will do.

On the other hand it will not be easy, we already know that.

Besides BP as an enemy, he also has GG holding his legs.

So be patient, friends, we're not about to see this piece of paper arrive, but it will eventually come...!

when the divorce papers will be thrown on Akriti and BP's faces will be the best moment of this show Till then, Anubhav giving 0 f to them is already satisfying.

I still feel the writers made a mess of the scientists character and AnuGun.

To me he is all words and no concrete action.. He asked for time, but then went ahead and consummated their love without doing anything about getting rid of the official wife in his home. Without witness or proper declaration from him he should know very well the name GG will be tagged with. He doesn't speak out to the people who needs to know. There was enough opportunities for him to do so, but he hid behind GG's refusal to name her husband. One might say he did it for her, but he should have come clean with the family especially when things deteriorated to the point of BP asking him to take kasam.

He declared her his wife in a place where no one really knew the identity of his wife. Even in hospital, he doesn't tell BP that GG is his wife. He put Sindor on her first and hence she is his wife and not Akriti.

Yeah, a beautiful show with a good concept and different characters was ruined with unwanted twists and messy writing.... The no nonsense, stern yet caring ML became an indecisive and impulsive guy and the bindass social butterfly who wouldn't take insult on her person now became a doormat... The show was about breaking the mould but sadly the creatives moulded the character into typical ITV leads.

Very well return hes mentioned alot to gg tht he wants to leave akrtiti but it wont be easy abruti wont divorce him thts the prob unless she does somethng which the whole family tells them to separate but she has the biggest supporter bp so it will be hard but yh its gna be later on till shes out of their way

I understand your point of view, but let's look through the mirror.

In the meantime

1: GG lost her father, she was already attacked from many sides. Akriti who is not even sad that she lost her uncle, but asks her in front of her father's body who her husband is.

2: GG tried to commit suicide and Anubav is confused to keep her alive, so he tells Golu that he is waiting for GG, after all it is THEIR life so he can't do everything alone.

3: Maya is back and all the Ronnie drama, GG doesn't tell him anything so he doesn't know what to do. GG says she's leaving with her mother, so he tells her loud and clear that he won't let her go.

4: Another suicide attempt, and again GG holds him back.

He can tell his family, but was GG during this time strong enough in all her losses to handle this?

When they consummated their marriage, looking at the scene, Anubav wanted to console GG plus anchor her in their relationship.

GG was quite confused, lost, alone, admittedly I don't 100% validate the action, but as I said Anubav is not a man of words, but of action, at the time that was the action he took.

He went with GG to Mumbai, but in the meantime BP made him promise something, he did it to calm down the game, but the next day he bluntly said that he is going to live HIS life.

Then he promised Garima that he would sort it all out.

For now, Anubav just wanted to 'anchor' GG in his life, he didn't think further.

For me the return from Mumbai if he hadn't had all this, would have been the right time.

They always say to take strength before going to "war", so his moment of relaxation was to take strength.

Yes it is true, until Anukriti marriage is annulled viewers will always have the fear of Anugun separation.

I did notice that Gungun thinks herself as Anubhav’s wife but wants Anubhav to stay with his family and thus with Aakriti.

Viewers were angry upset when even after filling Gungun’s mang Anubhav went ahead and married Aakriti. But Gungun never ever complained about that.

Gungun is always like why don’t you have two wives one at home and one me. Whenever I call you, come and be with me. You can have s*x at home and with me as well. That is how you keep your family happy.

Yes, Gungun is the one who always stopped Anubhav. She is always ok with all the humiliation whether it’s getting slapped by Aakriti or holding Aakriti’s feet.

The viewers doesn’t want to hear the word “divorce” from Anubhav, they want him to physically apply for the divorce. Talking about divorce will not help.

I know he didn’t get time, because one by one things are happening non stop in his life and now he has no strength.

Applying for divorce is nothing wrong and Aakriti can’t shout and get what she wants.

We saw that Anubhav said I need time to fix things. It would be great if makers show us a flashback where Anubhav is trying to connect to a divorce lawyer.
Aakriti having the legal marriage registration papers is giving her more strength.

As I wrote in earlier posts, Anubhav, may be with Golu gang’s help find out evidence of his sindoor marriage.

I don't know yaar, may be one can justify his actions... But for me this was not the actions or reactions that the Anu before PWP would have done. That Anu was a mature sensible person... The first thing that person would have done was to use the break up to bargain with BP for more time before plunging into another marriage, given that he was not willing from the beginning and had to be blackmailed to agree.

Anyways, I strongly believe his declaration that he considers GG his wife and not Akriti coz he put Sindor on GG *first* in itself should reduce BP's attack on GG and her character by half.. Coz then the mistake would be his Chirag's.. He was the one who did not keep the values that was drilled into him from childhood. BP and therefore * the epitome of his sanskar* knew the implications of applying Sindor on a woman. That in itself should make Akriti's status as bahu null nd void... Thus GG would no longer be the sinner who poached on her sister's husband.

Right words at the right time would righten the situation,and it is the easiest and most effective way to diffuse the humiliation his *love* has to face repeatedly...

But then where is the drama... So the writers won't let him say the words *Stop it BP, GG is my wife... mein sirf uska pati hoon (pardon my hinglish) *

Anubhav being a 'man of actions' has screwed up badly.

He married Akriti, despite being conscious of the enormity and implication of applying sindoor to Gungun. He, there n then, acknowledged that he IS Gungun's husband now n down the mandir's steps, he was questioning himself abt how wrong it will be to proceed with the social wedding organised by his family. But on one call of Akriti, he reached mandap n performed the phere.

Fine, he never got ample time to mention abt 'divorce', due to Dr.Riddhesh's untimely demise, etc...

But he got time to consummate his benaam sitara wala rishta with Gungun. 👏

He requested Gungun to give him time to sort things out. Never once Gungun asked what he meant by it, nor did he give any clarification abt his plans.

+point is that Anubhav never consummated his shaadi with Akriti. He considers his shaadi with Akriti as a compromise. Does he apprehend the reactions of his family? He knows they all will side with her only, n blame Gungun.

Anubhav can be a brave man, a true patriot to put his life at risk at the hands of terrorists. But he is still a spineless man, in my opinion.

He was in a rush of adrenalin that fateful night he got married n twice. Okay, fine, a mistake he did, can be accepted. But afterwards?

He asked Gungun to accompany him to Mumbai, after he consummated his benaam sitara rishta, while at home, he stalled his family from tagging an eager Akriti along with him, with a promise to take her on honeymoon later. This man is ever thinking of divorce???

No, Anubhav has not thought of divorce yet. For him, the easiest plan was to sail in two ships. But if with Gungun he'll be living in secret n yet gives her all the attentions a wife deserves from a husband, with Akriti..he would be cold, feeding her false promises, allow his family members to mollycoddle her and keep away from her n her ardors to share intimacy...but for long, i wonder.

Now that he witnessed the ugliness of Akriti's soul n how shallow she is, how bitter she is n just how much she 'loves' him (her love declaration in that hotel room after the cultural show was sooo potent), n that now all threats of Akriti have turned to ashes n holds no more, lets see if he pronounce himself abt divorce.

I won't be surprised that before Anubhav musters some courage to attempt divorce proceedings, its Akriti who blackmails abt divorce!

Yes, Akriti ain't a fool. She knows that Anubhav won't stick with her, not after what she said n after what happened in that hotel room. She will blackmail him that she'll file a divorce procedure, n will file charges against him that he cheated on her, n will file domestic abuse charges on his family members n make a very ugly lengthy divorce proceedings in which the K family will be utterly ruined, humiliated n on the streets begging, as she'll claim alimony n much more.

He promised Garima to release Akriti. So for me that is more than enough, but I understand what you mean Mehr05.

There are some things that hold him back, but to me not really.

But let's see who will talk about "Talak" first!
