In todays episode you mentioned that he was happy ke she was thinking of family before her happiness…so may be that will come in to play and he will stand by her….thinking i have done wrong with her many times by not supporting her but her heart is always at the right place so may be….i want his character growth…we cant be going back to square one…otherwise until episode 2000 we will be still playing the same game…

I hope so but he knew all this before too like remember what she did for BA’s second marriage and he appreciated it 😩 but I think this time the test will not be their relationship, it’ll just help it grow since he will help her once he realizes and understands her pov.

This is about mother and daughter relationship too so she may bring in her own past history so he may understand her pain and why it’s so important to her.

I agree! They really built up her entry suspense well! So Avantika is elder to Amey and is the first baby of the generation. Something big must have happened for them to cut off ties like that! Hope they play it out well!

My 2 cents on Amey today:

I'm annoyed that he interrupted them (hattrick kar diya ab toh! ) but I don't really fault him much for not objecting to Appu's plan for the evening. I mean he did receive a life changing news and wants to celebrate it, esp for his wife! and he also knows that Appu won't change her mind and go now anyways! 😆

That being said, now that they can see the feelings grow, I do wish they would plan something for these two to get together.

The person like daada only possibility is she had married a guy of her choice and is not maharashtrian I would not be surprised if he is not from their religion also. Definitely non Marathi

I think that's exactly what's going to happen. After overhearing the convo in the precap, Appu is going to inquire about Avantika, maybe even in front of Mai/DK and probably pester Khadus to tell her about it too which is why he makes her promise not to bring up the topic again (in the BTS he looked serious and Appu wasn't hurt but just upset and disappointed so I'm guessing). And of course, she won't be able to keep that promise so he will get angry at her for unintentionally and indirectly hurting DK/Mai or making DK angry and disturbing the peace in the house.
