May be Maai wants her to come home and appu supported. This home is Maai's as well. why she can not come because daada does not want it.
Appu did not want Netra to be there, but Daada said so she stayed back. seems joint family but everyone's thought or feeling is not considered. Dada did not care how appu felt when netra was there in khadu's room. He is not caring for maai either for his ego. What is the big deal if avantika comes home and meet others. She is dead for daada so be it. he can choose not to meet her. But for his ego making others behave his way and not caring their feeling is not right. This is not discipline. He does not want to spend money but kuki gang finds way and does go out of his wish. why not this? Daada should keep his ego a side for others happiness. AVantika not coming or not keeping in contact with her, will satisfy his ego but rest of the family will be happy. He being a household should think about rest of the family's happiness also. Respect is one thing but he can not be right all the times. Just because he is head of the family why can not any one tell him the truth or live the way they want. He did same by forcing khadus to marry appu. Khdus is still blaming appu but did not have a courage to say a word to daada.
I know I am in minority but I feel daada is equally wrong. Hum whole bill appu pe nahi phaad sakte. She should leave because khadus says again its fault to marry her.
Thats the crux of the problem though that they are not considering each other's feelings...You're absolutely right that Mai has every right to bring Avantika home. But she also knows how hurt DK was because of her behavior. And rest of the family isn't talking to her either, not because of DK's orders but because of how she insulted him when he called her back. But yes, Mai has a right to bring her home still, but after trying to talk to the whole family and considering their feelings too. Her feelings as a mother are different from DK's feelings as father or Kukki's as an uncle...this is a situation where no one is right and no one is wrong, including Appu. It's all about how they deal with the situation and right now Appu's stubbornness is wrong and yes after everything is out, when DK becomes too angry and rude, he will be wrong then too. Right now though, his anger is a cover to protect his own pain and fear of being hurt by his daughter again.
Mai isn't wrong at all for wanting to meet Avantika but she will be wrong if she tries to force everyone into it because each relationship will be different. What is she going to say to Amey? To forget everything and forgive her even though she didn't even care to attend his wedding, one of the most important days of his life, in her own ego? Can you imagine how much that must have hurt him as a brother?
As for Shashank, his frustration is right in his place because he, for once, was very patient with her in this matter and trusted her promise so much to repeat it to DK for assurance, but she just blatantly lied to him and betrayed his trust. Like we said, intentions only get you so far so if we look at just this instance, he's not wrong. HOWEVER, pairing this with his DBS mode, yes Appu should definitely say it on his face that he won't have to tolerate her anymore so that he can get a reality check about his mistakes too.
