khans era is over, age can't be overcome, our cinema roles are mainly written for the young,

by now next generation stars should be here

but neither ranveer nor ranbir have reached that level stardom

may be karthik, vicky ...don't know but takes 5-10 yrs to build it up

i think stardom is bringing in the initial audience for even a badly made or average movie.

of course movie will sustain or taper off later based on its quality

See the thing is Karan cries for the success to the level of K3G and KKHH, the 3 crore plus footfall bringing. Which can never happen with the likes of Kapoor's and Son, Wake Up Sid and ADHM. So if he wants that level of success, he needs to make movies in similar vein targetting the corny cringey tiktok/reels loving generation but at the same time appealing the aunties, who will drag their husbands to the theater.

He needs to bring a charming handsome young boy who will bring in the girls, and a good looking yet not so exposed girl, who will bring the boys, making a corny traditional story set up with the old fashioned family traditions.

As much as this young generation doesn't want to admit but for all the independence and freedom from family life and cry about horrible relatives, most of this generation is lonely and they feel happy when they see genuine bond among families.

agree, people may get tired of all the edgy stuff, in fact even in bb, rrr or kgf the emotional content is very old fashioned bromance, mom son type

basically a new age maine pyar kiya but bottomline is you need a talented writer to weave the story and kjo is no sooraj barjataya

For one thing it makes you a better writer.

It gives you ideas. It opens your minds and stimulates your imagination. It informs you. It’s gives you different perspectives and understanding. All of these will help you write better stories yourself.
