My thoughts for today.

So much drama in the last 72 hours 😆 and it's only the beginning of day 3.

Abhira:

The much awaited and needed confrontation to sort things out. We finally get Abhimanyu saying what he's been feeling and why he has been upset with Akshu. But I still think he was wrong in not letting her speak to him about this. His default mode is going into protection mode. He saw how Akshu behaved and was trapped in the emotionally abusive relationship with Arohi. She took the blame in the accident incident and that both angered and scared him. It triggered all sorts of things for him because it hit too close to home in the way he has seen his mother behave. But Akshu is a different type of person from Manjari. They may have similar traits but they are not the same. Manjari right now is definitely the weaker of the two. Akshu has far more strength then Abhimanyu truly realizes. It's a pity that he never knew about Akshu slapping Arohi over the accident issue or Akshu shutting her sister up for saying all the crazy things about him due to Rudra.

It is true that in the beginning there was blame laid at Akshu's feet only because she happened to be standing there. If Akshu hadn't walked into the DNA lab then there would be no evidence to blame her for the exposure. Even if let's say she didn't go to the lab and only heard the findings from Arohi, the very act of her running to tell her mother-in-law again puts her in a bad position. But to me at the end of the day she did not tell Neil. Neil found out himself. It was Manjari's own misunderstanding and her jumping to conclusion that Akshu told Neil. Akshu didn't break her promise to Abhimanyu. Her one mistake was telling Manjari her mother-in-law whom she thought she had a trust with at that time and she would never have thought she would have thrown her under the bus like that. And that is one part that is hard to digest for me because Abhimanyu is still sort of taking the side of his mother.

At one side he's telling Akshu not to interfere with his family but on the other side he is angry at his family for not stopping Harshvardhan and then he himself is interfering with his parent's relationship. And the funny thing is all of this leads down the same exact road - helping the family to resolve issues that are there.

Akshu's slip of the tongue remark regarding Abhimanyu's behavior with the divorce situation was something that he needed to hear. Because it is the truth. He is "behaving" like his father in his stubbornness and the truth is no matter how much distance he wants to put himself between his father he is still at the end of the day his father's son. He will inherit personality traits. And I will say yes, he's done his best to think and act differently from his father. But sometimes when I see him go into his protective mode he does have a tendency to always speak for the person he is protecting. Yes, he is acting on behalf of someone who he thinks is weak and has no strength to say what needs to be said or do what needs to be done but there is line between protecting and projecting your own decisions and wishes. It then becomes a detriment to the person you are trying to protect. You take away their voice and their own choices. But his anger is also something his father has given him and in that rage he sometimes spews unkind words just like his father.

As scary as it was for Askhu to witness Abhimanyu's rage and be on the receiving end I think until she actually hears/sees how deeply traumatized, in pain, and in sadness Abhimanyu is in she won't be able to help him get past this. The rage he hides inside has to be let out. The more it festers the deeper the damage it does to the person. The man has lost hope on relationships and even though he has fallen deeply in love with Akshu his fear of seeing his relationship crumble just like his parent's relationship or any other relationship in the Birla household is very strong. That is why he has no faith in patience. He acts quickly to solve situations and shut down any conversations. This may be the biggest reason why he wants Akshu to stay out of his family affairs. It's too huge of a triggering point. It's too close to the insecurities he has about himself and his own ability to keep a relationship. He thinks if Akshu stays away then they can create a world just for themselves. But that is not how a family works eventually you will have to interact with the family.

I'm glad Akshu is finally getting upset because she has every right to be when Abhimanyu is not listening to what she is saying. I don't think she's trying to say she's right and he's wrong. What really should be happening is them going okay how do we make this work and come to a compromise of how to handle the situation?

Manjari:

Looks like she's sort of back to her senses again worrying about Abhimanyu and Akshu out in the rain. It remains to be seen if she will end up bridging the gap between them or causing more issues for the two.

I'm not sure if I made much coherent sense today 🤓 battling a headache so probably be off early today.

Thanks for summarize the AbhiRa situation today. It was much needed confrontation because the silent treatment and one sided efforts were really getting too much. Sometimes wounds need to be out be aired out for them to dry and finally heal.

100% focus on Abhira now. As much as I was enjoying Manjari Harsh drama but it would be too unrealistic to assume the whole track be dedicated to them (it's Abhira show after all) and audience was dying to hear AbhiRa to talk or fight or make up. The Manjari Harsh thing can be a slow moving change in the back. I am happy either ways because angst was 🔥

Excited for the upcoming angst and naach Gaana. Though we will have to see Dr. NOT SO GOENKA'S face as well but that's okay. We got a whole week of episodes with 0 GFN ss - last 4 episodes she didn't exist for me, in 2 before that she was literally ghosted 😆
