sorry vai but i dont agree on this with you..😊
I live in very large joint family....chacha chachis dada dadi and lots of cousins...😊
Haa sabke separate kitchen and living areas hai.. But we live in one home...😇
And we have such lovely bond with each other... Ulta mai to kehti huu ki I am really blessed ki mai joint family mai rehti huu.. The love you get there in all forms..❤️
Large family mai rehne ke apne faayde hai... Jaha aapko kisi bahar wale ki jarurat hii nahi padti...you can share all your sorrow and happiness in the family only..
Har festival aur khushi celebration ban jaati hai... Aur har dukh aadha ho jaata hai..family mai sabke hisse aata hai..😌
Aur ye to hai hii na ki sabme thoda bahut adjust to karna hii padta hai...chahe vo joint family ho yaa Nuclear family....haa rahi baat privacy ki to haa mai maanti huu ki uska thoda issue rehta hai... But utna bhi nahi ki jitna aap adjust na kar sake..🙂
Aur fir pro & cons to sabke hote hai...😇
Shahi ke shahs jaise joint family nahi hote re sabki... Itna ajeeb saa parivaar Or equation bhi nahi hote... Normal life mai joint families much more sorted hoti hai..😊
Sapna,
As you have noted you love joint family because of your first hand experience living in one, which I gather from your post is mostly a happy environment. So, it is natural for you like & choose that environment.
Not everyone is blessed to have an environment like that. Someone expressing their inclination to a nuclear family might have stemmed from their own unpleasant experience in joint family. So, each of those different opinions will be bases on their experience or seeing in close quarters. Different folks, different strokes.
However, here the context is that of a fictional story of Anupama. Who has lived in large family which was shown to have abused and used Anupama like a maid. So, it is hard to relate to her liking for a joint family. Despite all that she went through, she can still choose a joint family setting over nuclear. But that just goes to show that she is someone who does not learn from her mistakes.
