Watch Mann with manisha koirala, mela, thugs of Hindustan, even some bits in Dil chahta hai (the satisfaction when akshay slaps aamir 👍🏼❤️)

Salmans a much better actor when it comes to playing these roles imo…even tho aamir is the better actor in almost all other aspects

Sallu's 90s films appeal to me more than his 2000s films.

Aamir started appealing to me post Lagaan only.

SRK had good films in both era. But he lost his motto after My Name is Khan

Totally cringe at the way Urmila is willing to buy Anil and how Sridevi is willing to sell him. Also, it really makes light of a man being sexually harassed/assaulted. I mean his wife is literally pimping him out and forcing him to sleep with someone else. It was also a common regressive Bollywood trope in the 90s that rich NRI women were out to entrap married men and used money to fulfill their desires.

Ironically, change it to consensual relationships between three adults and you have a progressive movie about polyamory.

Poo is so over the top. But IIRC she was answering her sister when she said that it's not her fault that all the guys at the mandir were staring at her. The scene is meant to showcase Poo's overwhelming vanity and get some chuckles over the sisterly banter.

I dislike the ones where Actress is from rich family and she is all arrogant, meets hero, he teases her, then slaps her for being arrogant and she becomes this sachhe Dil ki insaan. 🤷‍♀️


I also dislike movies where Hero falls for a girl and when he describes her, he says she is so masoom and so I fell for her masoomiyat. Gadha kahin ka. I don’t know what writers mean through masoomiyat.

I thought all Indian women were automatically presumed to be 'virginal' until proven otherwise just like all accused are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty. We've gone to the other end of the spectrum now. Remember Salman teasing Anupam Kher about being a virgin in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Equally cringy.

There was a scene where they return from honeymoon and she brings gifts for Herself, whole family gathers in the bedroom and keeps eyeing those things (not greedily though) so he gives everyone everything even the chocolates without even asking her😆

And when she says alag rehte hai he's like mai apni family ko nahi chod sakta, she says maine bhi toh choda hai na he's like woh alag baar hai something like that🤣
