That's why i think sherlyn will be kept in the story.
In order to release preeta rishab will pretend as though he is having an affair with sherlyn. To release her. Preeta will never return to karan willingly. That will destroy her character trp aunties will get pissed. It would be rishab trying to push her towards karan by pretending to be negative.
So sherlyn will be kept in the picture but he won't marry her. She will be used to keep preeta away.
This is why Manit said there will be good and bad about rishab's character.
The other thing is rishta fans are worried preeta will return to karan

The fear of preeta returning to karan will depend on how she is after the leap. If she is shown happy then she won't return to him willingly. It would be rishab pushing her towards him.
