Sad that something haute did not review it. They missed out on a great drama . Wish they knew and at least acknowledged it once in their programme.

I loved reading your review .. I agree Affan can act sweet polite characters, and can also be mean and angry.. he is a gr8 actor. I too felt for Faria , because Sikandar was scary in that scene. And when you mentioned Arij.. do you remember how Affan used to treat her bad and angrily in Gustakh E Dil? 😲

Areej is one of its kind. There are few natural actresses who remind me of her sometimes.. Madiha Imam is one of them. Kinza is improving really fast.

Awww awida as I was thinking about arij and affan that poor poor drama came to mind and I was going to mention it knowing at least you'd get it lol but spoken about my disappointment so many times that I felt I was going to bore you 😀

Honestly credit also goes to director they knew these actors well and directed them well. Everytime a conversation was happening I kept on looking at affans face. He is soooo expressive that you also feel the same expression and emotion.

The way the director spread out the circumstances leading to DA and Sikandar's wedding, they barely gave them enough time to actually develop a solid foundation post marriage. There was barely any time to process Sikandar truly accepting DA for herself. And it didn't sit right with me how his behaviour changed only after payal girl reveal. It took away a little from the romance of their story. Until the reveal, which was literally two episodes ago btw after being hidden for so so long, Sikandar automatically realises he is in love with DA. Kal kisi aur Kay paayal ko dekhkar uspar mat mitega. 😅

Overall though, great acting by the whole cast. The first 20 episodes were perfection! I wish we had 10-20 episodes more to witness how our couple dealt with problems together. For a drama with such high emotional feeling and dialogues, the end feels half baked at best. That said, I hope our leads will work together in another drama. Their chemistry is too good not utilise again. I don't always trust Affan's script choices. But sometimes, the guy hits it out of the park.

I too feel this drama ended abruptly. And I too wanted Sikandar to develope feelings for DA before knowing that she was the payal girl.. but in fact he did. If you remember how many times Fariya asked him to dumb DA , but he wasn't able to do.. he said that he feels khauf. It is love , because when you think of seperating with your dear ones, deep inside you feel this khauf. He couldn't bear it.. he wasn't able to leave DA.

I think they could've made it run longer but I am satisfied because they didn't ruin it. I was scared that maybe DA may become mahaan, and leave Sikandar for Fariya.. but surprisingly she fought for him.👏

Gustakh dil as a story had so much potential . Its a tragedy they ruined it. Just like dil zaar zaar . Love to know why and what happened. Wish i was friends with affan or areej just to ask them what happen3d to that drama !!!

I know , we suffered because of the bad direction of GED . But we were happy Affan and Areej were there.. there was a prop there too, that picture she drawed.. but sadly realization came late and he lost her.😭

Affan's body language and voice modelation are always in sink with his characters.. he feels them. I wonder why he is very underrated.. Now I can state that he knows how to pick his dramas.. after Do Bol , we got Yun To Hai Pyar Bohot , and now this. He is the most romantic actor in Pakistan.❤️

That the painting was what connected them and here a Payal . Affans characters are all so romantic in that way.

I always knew this had to have a happy ending otherwise I think people would have bashed it badly and they showed affans character very honorable.

I know you didn't like that hina affan one but I just watched his scenes and loved his character as well as shenai where he was sooooo so good.

I'd like to watched galti but he played a mean husband so didn't though the last episode was so sad.

No that's not a strategy i guess, i believe this drama was made to air once or twice a week but due to some reasons they aired in everyday. Tho it worked for them, it got yt trending, good ratings and views.

Will probably binge as it's much shorter than their other shows. Rang Mahal aur sab look like a chore to watch 😆

It definitely worked. I remember same strategy was done with Dil-e-Gumshuda where it was just 33 episodes and just M-F. I feel like this is honestly smart strategy to air short dramas daily. It always works.. look at Hum Tum, this, DeG, etc

I think GED suffered from bad writing, bad direction and maybe production house wasn't interested in paying much on it, so a side from Affan, Areej and Azra mam all the other actors were horrible 🤢. If it was helmed by a good channel it would've become a super hit.😃 Same goes for another Affan's drama which aired on BOL : Aik Mohabbat Kafi Hai.😊

This drama has : Shahabuddin, Subhan and Sikandar .. all are honorable ppl. Only Kashan was low class

Well. I watched Kasa E Dil untill the conspiracy track led by Affan's mom.🤢 Since I hate such tracks I had to quit. But it was good to watch Affan falling for Hina from the 1st sight, and captured her photo.. I don't know why he is obssesse with photoing girls 😉😆

I skipped Ghalati for the same reason. Also had to quit his drama with Zahid and Sanam Jung.

Affan should work on a romantic series. He is one of the best actors in PTV. I really loved sikander.
