When we were talking about India trip, a searing excitement shot up and I thought about the airport, and wrote my oberservations.
I have travelled a lot by train in India.Several of these journeys, spanned over 2 nights/3days to very short3 hr ones. I have taken solo journey as well as with gang of friends, family. I look back at each of these journeys fondly, remembering vague and incoherent details that have managed remained in my memory.
I have wondered how we all want the best/comfortable seats, enough room for luggage etc even though we know that the destination is only matter of hours. We exchange our personal stories with co-travelers, become friends, bond with older/young ones who are soon forgotten in matter of days/months.
That is a reminder how our life’s journey is also similar. It is short, meet so many people, make and collect memories along the way and then reach our destination. Some co-travelers are remembered, some are not!
That brings another deep question - When I am gone, how will I be remembered?
