It is with Shekhar Kapur right now. So that obviously means this film will never happen.
Maane KJo legit had a brahmastra in the form of rights of Immortals and he did nothing with it. This shows why he is heavily dependent on flavours of the season because he himself has no vision to create one. If there is any excitement from my side for Brahmastra, it is because of the elements of Shiva which is implicitly powerful. Now imagine the magic that would have been created if they did go for an adaptation.
Though I wonder, which director in the Dharma camp would have been capable. I was one of those who really enjoyed Agneepath and waited for Brothers which turned out to be a damp squib. Out side the camp, may be Gowarikar, then again the debacle of Mohenjodaro.
