Are u making this film to push boundaries with vfx work?
Or to emulate the box office success of baahubali?

Or build a franchise/ universe?
Or bring together ranbir and aliaa so they can date under kjos supervision ?

I think Ayan is a crisp story teller and he knows how to create a movie for the masses. If KJO has meddled like he did with Kalank, this movie is a sureshot flop.

karan's chaap shows in all his productions and his achilles heel is the very clique he promotes, he may want to make a pan india film but he wants to do it with his clique

about kalank I didnt know this but again shows, any sensible producer would have cast according to the role and not succumbed

I’m guessing whatever Ayan had shot was just really subpar and bad and that’s why KJo was able to order his changes. Assuming he truly is the force behind the changes.

Have you seen Shershah? It’s actually a very well made movie with good special effects and a good screenplay. Vishnu Vardhan has done an amazing job. So if a movie is good and everyone is in control of their work KJo doesn’t mess with it.

Brahmstra has been a mess from start. Over the years there’s been more negative buzz about this movie than any other in recent times. If KJo has interfered it’s probably because he had the argument in his favor beyond just his own power as head of Dharma.

yes, it was a good movie and I have watched vishnuvardhan south films too, but he is an experienced director who has worked with really top stars in the south like ajit and pawan kalyan in 6-7 films, assisted somebody like santosh sivan and neither is he in the personal clique of kjo, it is totally different power dynamic as opposed to abhishek varman or ayan who owe their careers to dharma and ayan virtually hangs out with them 24/7

kjo is smart no doubt but then there is raw talent on why some people can make some kind of movies, you can't game that with smartness

if ayan and ranbir as you say are primarily responsible then I have even lesser hopes and can only say ayan has chewed more than etc .....and karan is again making the kalank error which I thought he was too shrewd for

we now to play the guessing game on whose ideas it were when the movie releases 😂, if bad ayan will get the flak but hit means kjo will take his share (which is fair I guess)

Bombay velvet was a non-starter. I have never seen that much negativity for any film in Bollywood. There were just so many stories about that film being terrible in the press.

Did KJo really meddle with Kalank too?

Kalank went through its fair share of changes too didn’t it? Wasn’t it supposed to be called Shiddat at one point? It became clear from the trailer itself that Kalank had a major SLB hangover and throughout promotions they weren’t able to create a positive buzz about the movie itself. Also KJo skipping its trailer launch should have been a big clue that something wasn’t right.

Like you said, we are all guessing as to who’s really in charge of Brahmstra 🤷🏽‍♀️. I guess the trailer will give a better idea of how this movie is gonna go. If it works then it works and depending on how well it works it may or may not be a game changer for Indian cinema. Although talks of game changer has taken a whole new meaning after Rajmouli. I may be proven wrong but as of now I doubt this movie will be on par with what Rajmouli and Bahubali has achieved. But if it fails KJo might feel the financial loss but Ayan’s career will face the biggest loss.

It’s just so sad…. A whole facade of a marriage, all for nothing. Even marriage couldn’t elevate interest in this movie
