Mrs. Subhadra Orthodox Malik is Deviyani's childhood friend, who spent the last 14 years in an ashram is Arnav's Dadi. She has her own interpretation of what is right and wrong.

First impressions are a big deal for her. She hates Khushi for being careless and likes to find her flaws and faults every now and then. She was last seen when Arnav and Khushi ties the knot.

The rich and modern Manorama Singh Raizada is fiercely protective of her niece and nephew after they move in with them. She stands up for whatever she perceives to be injustice.

She is insinuated to have fell in love and married Mahendra Singh Raizada when she was working for the Raizada's. She is an intelligent with an instinctive detective brain. She is mostly into fashion, make-up all the time.

Her famous line "Hello hi bye bye" is still intact in all our minds.

A loving mother to Payal and Khushi, Garima Gupta is shy, caring, loyal, a selfless human. Her desire is for her daughters to be happy.

Her world comes crashing down when she realises that her past was affecting innocent Khushi's present which could risk her and Arnav's future.

Honest, strong and hard working, Shashi Gupta is a stern and loving father. His daughters are his priority, and loved both Payal and Khushi unconditionally.

He becomes paralyzed because of Shyam's deceit actions.

They were the most entrancing lovers on screen and the most whacky friends off it. If Arshi made us go dhakdhak and dizzy, SaRun made us giggle and laugh and sigh and want their relationship to always be this blessed and happy.

Sanaya Irani and Barun Sobti met while making Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and seem to have hit it off soon. She was a tad senior to him in the industry but that didn't get in the way of their becoming good friends. When we saw their offscreens it was quite evident nothing was being put on for the sake of publicity... it was all mad laughter filled, slightly tired in the middle of the shoot, SaRun vibe. He called her Tintin or even Kabootri, she always had that indulgent tone in her voice when speaking of him, making him carry weights, pulling his hair, talking about ahem "gas".

Ah too many memories.

And wonderfully enough, the entire cast got along beautifully. Akshay and Barun were very close. Everyone loved Daljeet. Abhaas, Karan, Deepali, Sana... there was this vibrant congenial air on the sets and even the older actors, Jayshree T, Abha Parmar, Utkarsha Naik, all seemed to be completely at ease with each other. Actually several creatives also were good friends; Gautam Hegde, Arshad Khan and Lalit Mohan among them.

No doubt at all, this camaraderie and trust in the team and their crazy loopy fun times added that IPKKND element to the show. It's been more than two years they aren't working together, yet many of them remain friends, meeting regularly. In fact, it all feels like one big happy family...

Not surprising, the show led to many friendships... even among viewers. On forums, on Facebook, across borders and age. Till date, people meet over Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? and become good friends. Like we have and Cheers! to that.

Here's to that special thing called real friendship and that hamesha thing called love.

A hardworking individual, a devoted son and husband; Manohar Raizada is Akash's father and a father figure to Arnav.

He loves Payal and Khushi just like he loves his other children and accepts them as his daughters rather than daughter-in-laws.

He is a man of wisdom, values and sense of humor. Loves his wife a lot despite of her regular Royal demands.
