Okay....Even if this pregnancy is a ploy, I still don't like where the show is heading. They have finished the only potential plots left after revenge drama, Arpita ki shaadi and Arylie confession in less than a month. Now all I see are inconsequential, irrelevant plots by bringing in new villains who make in-numerous life attempts on them. Where is a plot and story,character progression. Even after revelation of Jo , BD, BM, what is that they are gonna show. Introduce some other villain? Again that villain trying to harm Arylie and same rinse n repeat tracks.

At this point even if they introduce a new worthy villain possibly a businessman, I still think it would be rinse n repeat bcoz itne saare villains aur life attempts ho chuke hai aur kya hi naya dikha sakte hai. And no I somehow don't want Aryan to go bankrput. ASR ki swag aur charm mat cheeno yaar. I never want to see a poor ASR. Never Ever.

Memory loss I'm not sure about how it would be handled. Since ASR is now officially Ashiq singh Rathore, if Imlie has a memory loss, he would be pining for her and can't really expect him to go to initial ASR zone. ASR memory loss sounds like a better idea to me.

Not very fond of separation tracks. Especially here as separation tracks are usually a result of MU's and distrust. They have put Arylie on such a pedestal in the matters of trust, that it is impossible for audience to not get disappointed if they have misunderstanding or don't trust each other.

Best option is reboot retaining Arylie but with a very strong and concrete plotline. Not some random half-baked story and characters. I want the makers to work on it like they do on a new show. Everything properly planned and executed only then it can run.

So in a nut-shell, they have created a perfect character ASR with very little flaws (he was shown to be rude and insensitive in the beginning only). Now, there are no flaws in ASR or Arylie's relationship and people don't want anything to change on that front. Neither should ASR be butchered (shown to be such a flawless character, even minor change in his character would be considered butchering now) nor Arylie can be shown to have MU's and distrust. What story can they show when there is no conflict between leads especially in a love story (they can't work on sensitive/quality issues like couple growing in relationship,difference of opinions, learning to live together, balancing work and life, insecurities etc). I'm not considering Imlie being a sacrificial lamb and trying to distance herself from Aryan to be a quality/sensible story line. That is simply an indication of not having enough trust in your partner.

So makers ne khud ke pairon pe khuladi maar li hai ASR aur Arylie ko pehle se hi itna perfect banake. Now they can't deviate from that

I feel the story has reached it's culmination and whatever is being showed now is just to run the show and make money out of it. Obviously we know ITV shows run till they are told to shut shop by the channel not based on if the show has reached culmination.

At least, we have 6 months of good Arylie story to watch and happily move on if we aren't liking the show anymore. Thankful for that and also for helping us to detach from the show . I can safely say that I have lost a lot of excitement in a matter of just 2-3 episodes. I can now focus on things in my real life. But now it feels like I have come to the end of a journey (my obsession is dwindling) and I feel sad that my love for the show is no longer the same. I'm gonna miss loving and obsessing over this show

I really like your idea of memory loss of aryan.

It can actually be like a soft reboot of the series. Narmada not allowing imlie into the house and trying to get aryan married to someone else.... And imlie landing up at bhaskar times as reporter to be around asr.

He getting irritated with this chit of a girl that he can't seem to avoid and she trying her level best to make him remember everything by being her cute annoying self.

We can have nok jhok plus start of whole 50-50 partnership again

Plus you are right. I didn't think about it but they have made aryan pretty much perfect at this point so any change from that makes fandom go crazy. But if there is no negative trait then where is the conflict and the drama?

They could expose badi maa. Narmada realise her blunder & apologise to Imlie. Show some Rathore moments, arylie moments. Narmada kick out badi maa. Badi maa curse Aryan. Every one get tense for him. Show some protective side of all ladies. The new entry who plot for Aryan. Aryan got killed.

Imlie ckt turn like Maya from beyhad a fierce lady. Proper Hindi, proper dressing & bold. Have a goal search of Aryan & his killer. Aryan return but with memory loss. I want brothel look for him. A tapori style.

I just want the stylish Imlie. Ye kya iska sindoor obsession kabhi khatam nahi hota.

Unfortunately in such type of non-existent story line, someone has to get new person in life. Now maybe all male actors in Imlie show till date clearly informed producers we cannot become villain as there is non-existent script for even strong villainy... so even that pagdandiya guy Imlie's friend vanished... all Aditya vanished... what is left is one hero Aryan and multiple ladies... and Sundar...

If Imlie is pregnant and Aryan cannot become father (The earlier promos were tom toming this... soon we had bunch of fan reactions and producers may have felt... if Imlie leaves with kid to Pagdandiya... then Rathore family ka kya hoga... rather make her only 'cannot conceive'. This gives scope for Malini to return with kid too (That option remains open still) and it gives Aryan to love / fall in love / forced marriage for kid and the momentum alive. Finally marriage rasams ke bagair yeh serial kaise chalegi'.

Not sure why they even wish to run this show... Use these actors and make new serial and release it in same slot...

Not seen this weeks episodes but by visiting here could say in my opinion they have already butchered Aryalie. They could have had at least 1-2 months long progressive romance track with Imlie’s new BT story regarding gangster and in mix with madhav+jo+bd+bm, BD can be comic relief, Jo can be related to gangster or may be her involvement in Nargis accident could be dragged.
As you mentioned, Aryalie were made perfect also when it comes to not hurting their family so if this pregnancy track turns out some ploy then also it’s executed so bad that Aryalie would come out too inconsiderate playing with Narmada and Arpitas feelings. If it’s ploy , I don’t see how they can convince others this drastic measures were necessary? 🙁

Yep, Aryan's memory loss will be like soft re-boot. Actually I would like both of them to have memory loss and totally meet under different circumstances but may be that would be considered a total reboot😆

As you have mentioned, we would have like a solid 3-4 months (more too) of plot with Aryan's memory loss. Starting from Imlie joining Bhaskar Times. Aryan being his old self not giving a damn about anyone. Imlie trying to grab his attention and some office plots . ASR can also have female attention like a gf (not BD) and Imlie trying to sabotage their dates n all😆. Romantic comedy plots with drama. But timeline would be an issue here. Imagining Aryan forgot everything right from the moment he met Imlie, then how his revenge on AKT for his Jeeja be shown. There's no AKT now and he primarily entered BT for AKT. It has been clearly mentioned that he was been in that revenge zone for last 4 years. May be he will be told about how he got a closure bcoz there was someone esle who killed his BIL and obviously he'll get to know about Sundar Arpita too. So he can be told a gist omitting Imlie parts.

@bold - True. We don't know where the show is heading with these plots. Seems like they are just extending the life of the show without any sensible story progression

@red - Ain't no story without any conflict and people don't want anything to change with ASR's character . But makers can't run a show with these perfect characters and a perfect relationship. So eventually separation tracks with misunderstandings and trust issues will crop up for the show to run. But we all will be terribly disappointed in them and many of us might have moved on from the show by then .

Since you loved reading my long post, I'm going to write another one about how all potential tracks were wasted. Yasss, I'm here to vent all frustration today😆

It all started with the forced marriage track and AKT's untimely exit only worsened it. Assuming that the forced marriage track was necessary at that point in time to keep the conflict between the couple alive and for them to interact in close quarters, they could have shown that beautifully in my opinion. Imlie trying to irk Aryan to get back at him. Not like the maha tamasha of the reception. Silly things like knowing what irritates him and purposely doing it. Bickering and fighting in the room about silly things. Forced to act like Happy couple (being all fake lovey dovey) infront of family. All these light moments with office plots. So much more. This only could be shown for one month.

It;s futile to even talk about the revenge drama. They made a mockery of their own story that they have built for months. Then even after AKT' s exit, Imlie choosing her marriage with Aryan and coming back was rushed. Her acceptance of this marriage also was very quick. We never got to see them having monologues about what they want in life and why they are comfortable with this marriage being real.

Imlie's patch up with Meethi too very rushed. Imlie had like moment of epiphany and boom Meethi comes, they apologize and done. In my imagination, it goes like this. They could have shown them going to pd, Aryan noticing the undercurrents, getting to know the reason why Imlie came back. Him feeling guilty and then trying to patch them up. The choice sequence should have come here in my opinion since he got to know why Imlie came to marry him. He should have apologized to her here and asked her live a life of freedom and choice and should have left her. Then Imlie should have run behind him after the realization that how he's always trusted and respected her and that would be primary for any relationship and she can live with that and love would eventually follow.

Then we could see Arylie accepting the marriage and becoming comfortable and slow burn flirting. Them trying to spend time together and understanding that how they are chalk and cheese. Imlie could also be seen having insecurities if She's the kind of girl Aryan would like and pay attention to. Getting jealous of female attention around Aryan. Aryan getting a tiny teeny jealous about her bond with Madhav (as Madhav is of her age from same village with same cultural background. it's easy for Imlie to get along with Madhav). Eventual love confession after a 2-3 months romantic journey.

Regarding Arpita track, they could have roped in a good actor who's like a business friend/rival of Aryan who's come for revenge. He acts very nice and sweet and they proceed to marriage. Then in the marriage track (with many subplots form engagement to marriage), Imlie reveals the truth. Arpita's working for Arvind Foundation and her meeting someone at her NGO be shown too.

Almost 5-6 months of story shown in like 45 days literally. The CV's have finished all these tracks in less script than I've written above🤣

What a waste. Now they are showing mindless plots and useless villains.

The pregnancy track is a real mess whichever way it is steered to. If it's a ploy, then it is insensitive and clear deviation from Arylie's characters to hurt their family. Revelation of villains can be done in so many other ways.

Loved your post again. I can’t put this as eloquently in words as you do so you are welcome to rant all you want.

Bold: I am all for romantic banters, I don’t like this current sappy romance. I don’t like how they both have to resort to words to express their love instead of showing in actions. I so much wanted to see jealous Aryan and Imlie in their romance that I resent their confessions because they were too soon. For me ITV is only for romance and once it’s done I move on. I resent lost potential which is not a good feeling when moving on.

I love banters. In fact I prefer banters over overly romantic crash n falls, eye locks. They are something I really enjoy and won't ever get bored of. Even I miss the tashan and fire in between them. I badly wanted to see jealous Imlie bcoz she's always been secure of her relationship with Aryan. She's seen how he keeps BD at an arm's distance. She never had to vie for Aryan's attention and affections. He was always there supporting her unconditionally. But poor guy never had the security. He always saw her running behind her ex and in fact marrying him for her ex.

While the confessions were aesthetically shot, they were too rushed obviously and didn't fit in the pace of things.

@bold - completely agree with you. ITV shows for me are rom coms especially. Beautifully written characters, Good looking couple with oodles of chemistry and push-pull relation and a decent (read as not regressive, no ott drama) story lines are things that pull me into a show. Infact this is the first Star Plus show (watched only another Sony show called EDKV) in 10 years after IPK that I'm watching only because of Arylie and ASR in particular. Otherwise I'm not into any other ITV shows nor do I follow them. But I understood one thing that there's a paradigm shift in Viewer's tastes in TV. TV has become highly competitive and shows no longer run on simple light hearted meaningful plot lines. Every sequence, every track needs to be high octane drama and action to catch viewers attention. So, generally speaking these kinda shows on TV are not to my liking. It's only Imlie that has caught my attention because of ASR and Fahmaan.

BTW are you into turkish dizi's. Their summer shows really fit the bill of the romcoms and so beautifully shot in aesthetic locations with high budgets. If you are interested, may be we can discuss them over PM.
