Dekha hota toh hume ye din na dekhne padte.. Smitha watch Kavy's scenes. That were good. You were asking for a good story right..you might get that in SH though.

I'm so angry dude..... She's basically the same, instead of shah house housekeeper she's kapadia housekeeper, except yaha cheque sign bhi karni hai, company bhi Sambhalna hai...

Bol diya na.. jeera laana ho ya heera, anupama ko hi decision Lena hai... Matlab Ghar me jeera hai ki nahi, mard ko kabhi bhi pata nahi rahega.

I haven’t seen episode fully ... On the face of it yes , those comments do seem quite regressive ...

Not defending the makers , but I guess problem is that target audience is quite large and varied .. Thats why while on one hand they are trying to show progress - Anuj helping her clean up the kitchen ( even in precap something similar is shown ) ... on other hand they are probably scared to lose their appeal to the homemakers, less educated older generation female “grehanis” ( and that is a large part of their target audience) and say dialogues which might be more relatable to them ...

That’s why the constant stress on Anupamaa as Maa and her role , even though to us it mostly comes across as mollycoddling them ...

The show’s empowerment messages are anyway v skewed , so I’m not surprised ...

It's ultimately this.. he helps out in the kitchen. Matlab still the rasoi belongs to the woman only. He is awesome because he helps in what is essentially her work!

Yes ... N To be honest I’m actually surprised how much ppl worship and praise AK’s character for things which are pretty basic - like helping out in domestic tasks , being courteous to women , being self sufficient in kitchen etc ... Just goes on to show that I guess our expectations are pretty low on that front 😊

Seriously! All of that is basic stuff, it just looks really progressive cause the parallel and the contrast is vanraj shah.
