Amit Shah To Watch Akshay Starrer 'Prithviraj' At Special Screening

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday watched Akshay Kumar-starrer Samrat Prithviraj at a special screening in New Delhi.

He watched the film at a movie hall in the central Delhi along with his family members, several central ministers, top officials of the Union home ministry and other guests.

Central ministers including Piyush Goyal, Anurag Thakur and Ashwini Vaishnaw watched the special show.

Samrat Prithviraj also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood and marks the screen debut of Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar.

The film is scheduled to release on Friday. The film depicts the heroism of 12th century king Prithviraj Chauhan. -- PTI

This is going to be embarrassing if the movie flops now…. I’m thinking that the movie is not great that they need all this political backing.

Akshay is desperate because he knows the product isn't good...and he's the one whose ridiculously half-baked performance is largely accountable for it. Still, he's delusional if he thinks that Amit Shah's endorsement is going to make a difference if the product is bad.

Amit Shah should resign and watch movies because he has failed to control the terrorism in the valley. Islamists are openly indulging in target killings to remove the last trace of Hindus from the valley but the great Chanakya HM has other priorities.
