Do the Archies even need a film adaptation? We all know how the Tintin adaptation fared. Zoya might as well go for a Phantom or Mandrake remake. Those were hugely popular too during that time period -the pre-cable-TV India. The Batman and Superman comic adaptations became successful because new fans were being created all the time. It never stopped being relevant.
That said Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar was adulated as an Archie adaptation among the fans at that time. Even Kuch Kuch Hota Hai has some superficial similarity.
The Archies is a very important landmark movie for the Indian culture and the youth of today. We deserve it.

This outsider insider debate is getting tedious.
Even other sectors for instance Medicine there are doctors who pay vast amounts of money in capitation fee for seat in medical college because their kids have not been able to secure seat merit based admission process.
It can be said the same about various business establishments too where parents ensure their children's place in the stablishment.
So what is wrong if a money bags producer, director or an actor wanting to secure their childrens' future in a business/field where they know their way around?
I think it's highly concerning if below average doctors are being produced because of nepotism. That's not something which should be justified and such practices should be called out, because it directly affects the life of patients if they're getting treated by an incompetent doctor who is there because of nepotism.
But doctors don't have fans, neither do 99% of other professions. But actors have fans and they get special attention all the time for irrelevant things.
Bollywood has no right to whine about getting special attention when it comes to topic of nepotism when they get also get special attention for every other thing. That's just sheer hypocrisy!

They get into these private medical colleges which charge exorbitant fee. For these private medical colleges only the student's financial status is the main criterion. As a result of this expensive education they try to earn all the money they spent on education by charging exorbitant fee from the patients. So it is a cycle.
Parents can make movies starring their kids but ultimately it is the audience who decides whether they are worth watching or not.
Parents can only spend so much money beyond that they can't do much. They can't keep producing movies for their children if the tickets don't get sold at the box office.
So there's no point wasting time on social media cribbing about nepo kids. If they have something in them they click if not they fade into oblivion.
Mahesh babu is a huge star where as his elder brother who died very recently struggled to find a foot hold in film industry and when he failed there television industry and then there also he failed and had a tragic life spending in the reflected light from his younger brother's superstardom.Mahesh babu's father is a huge star back in 70s and early 80s. He introduced both his sons into movies but only one as accepted by people..
People will buy tickets for the first movie out of curiosity and subsequent films they accept or reject purely on the basis of appeal acting talent etc.

How should we identify such doctors and stay away from them? I don't want to get treated by rich fools. This is scary. đ
Look at their medical degree from where and which med college they got it . It should be mentioned o the nameplate out side consultation room or do back round check
Private med college grads still have to pass the exams conducted by the state. Indian doctors are considered almost the world's best. Worry about unethical ones more.

Hi Rosh my dearest â¤ď¸đ¤Whatever doctors I have consulted, there is only degree written like MD. No medical college written.
