When she woke up in morning, Aryan wasnt there. Did she dream? But then he saw he left his jacket. She took it and hugged it. She went to work as usual, when she was done she saw Aryan waiting for her downstairs.

“Before you start your lecture, my mom wants to see you. Dont say no, she is too excited to see you. I wont be there . Just you and her? Please?” Imlie thought for few minutes, what if she has judgement to pass too? No she shouldnt judge someone like that otherwise why would she be excited to meet her? She nodded to Aryan “Yes” is all she said. The ride was silent, “tum thik ho?” He asked genuinely concerned

“Ha thank you for yesterday night”

“Hmm” he drop her till the door.

“Dont be nervous, she is expecting you” he rang the bell. A older lady sweet face opened the door, as soon she saw Imlie she hugged her inviting her in. She told his son to leave.

“Sit” his mother said

“You dont know how happy i am to see you!! Kuch logi? Pani ya kuch drinks?” She asked

“Nai Aunty”

“Not Aunty. Ma” she suddenly said. Imlie eyes glistened why she is warm towards her? Her own mother left her. A tear escaped, “Beta i know kya hua hai” she doesnt know what cameover her she hugged her as if she was her mom. She was so gentle and understanding.

“Sssh” no wonder she feels comforting with Aryan, he is just like his mother.

“My son is lucky, you are besutiful beta. If you dont mind can i say something?”

“He loves you, he told Me how he asked you and i told him he is useless cant even ask a girl out. So beta on behalf of him i love you and will you be son’s life?” She asked. Imlie was amazed at both of the personalities being so striking with each other.

“But Aunty” she started

“Aunty nai.. i dont want to talk to you then” she put her face away pouting. Imlie took moment and then slowly side hugged her.

“Ma” she whispered and then she hugged her back. Imlie broke down that moment. She needed this , she hid her face in her lap and cried.

“Bus bus, i know you are in pain but we are with you.” She caressed her head, Imlie didnt realize that she slept in the woman’s lap while crying. She felt at peace. When she woke up , she was in a room, at first she started to panic, where is she? Wasnt she in ma’s lap? She screamed , it was as if in reflex. Aryan opened the door, and she calmed down instantly. “Sorry” she muttered. He came and sat next to her holding her hand. “Its alright” is all he said. His mother had asked her a question so in reply she will give to his son. She would be stupid not accept this family. She losened her hand , and to Aryan suprise got into his lap and hugged him. At first he was in total shock but he wrapped his hand around her. She didnt cry but she wanted the comfort. “Thank you for everything, You know ma said you cant even ask girl out. You love me, she said i love you to me for you!” She said upfront but with shyness.

He nodded feeling “ She loves you already”

“You still not saying it “ Imlie said

“I um I um love your hair” he said nervously. She got off from his lap. “Tum nai sudhroge” she said smiling. “I have to go its late. “ she said picking her bag which they had kept on the table.

Aryan you stupid such a good opportunity and all you could say is hair? For real ? Idiot!! My

Mom is going to kill me. He dropped Imlie off till the door and kissed her cheeks but words still couldnt come out. She touched her cheeks, as he was leaving. She was scared of men touch, but with him it was different. Yeh to kabhi nai bolega , i will have to do something. After the incident today is first time she didnt have nightmare. She slept peacefully.
